Love, care & happy tails 🐶🐾
I love dogs of all sizes and personalities! Their quirky individual characters are a constant source of joy, and I find nurturing each dog’s confidence and natural abilities incredibly rewarding. I’ve had two dogs of my own, including my current senior dog, who I brought up from a puppy so I understand the importance of patience, consistency and adapting care to suit each dog’s individual needs and personality. I’m also happy to include some light training during walks and time spent with your pup, time permitting, if it’s something they would benefit from. Most of my experience is with active dogs, including spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, a cockapoo and a whippet but my own dog is now living a more chilled lifestyle in her senior years and I’m happy to look after dogs who enjoy a slower pace of life! 😊 I’m very open to all breeds and love getting to know what makes each dog special. 🥰

Fidan has looked after all of our family dogs, including our whippet, Suki, who she minded while we were away on holiday. Suki had a wonderful time staying with Fidan and her sprocker spaniel, Indie. They got on brilliantly and enjoyed plenty of lovely walks together. We felt really reassured knowing Suki was being well cared for and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fidan to anyone looking for someone to look after their dog.
We found Fidan responsible and caring with our two labs, with different needs, when she looked after them while we were away for a few days. She gave them lots of love and attention and suitable walks, adding on games in the garden. She also took good care of our home and left it as she found it. We would certainly recommend her and use her again.

Schedule
I currently devote most of my time to pet care, while volunteering for a couple of charities. I’d be happy to take care of your pets in my own home where they’ll be treated like family members (i.e. with loving care! 😉)

I’m based near London Fields, and happy to walk your dogs or drop in to check on them on a flexible basis. I'm also happy to discuss day care or boarding in your home or mine, on an individual basis once I have gotten to know dogs and their owners better - and vice versa. I have a back garden and pets have a run of my flat if they are staying over.

A typical day
Fun Activities & Enrichment 🐾 I have a working-type dog who I’ve brought up from four months old, so I’m very used to keeping dogs both physically and mentally active. For me, a walk is just one part of keeping a dog happy and fulfilled! I spend quite a bit of time exploring the fantastic parks in and around Hackney and love finding new places, letting dogs have a good sniff and explore, and, where appropriate, meeting other friendly dogs to socialise and burn off some of that extra energy! I also enjoy incorporating some basic training, recall practice and other little challenges into our time together, depending on what your dog enjoys and is comfortable with. Every dog is different, so I like to tailor activities to their energy levels, personality and natural instincts—whether that means a long walk, a playful social outing or simply some quality one-to-one chill out time on the sofa. 🐶❤️
