After many years of living in various places, I’ve returned home to New Orleans, and just where I belong. Since returning home in 2019, I have been delighted to see how much the city has changed for the better. I am a remote professional with plenty of time to dedicate to your beloved pet. I live in the heart of Mid City, an area known for its beautiful and majestic oak tree-lined streets. I live in a cozy apartment with a very spacious, enclosed yard perfect for dogs of all sizes. Fernando took amazing care of our beloved pup, sending us updates and photos the whole time and ensuring he had a fun stay while we traveled. We are so happy to have found someone so caring to take care of Jameson, and will definitely be booking with Fernando again going forward.
Fernando is a great host. He communicates well and made time to take my large dog out on multiple walks a day. He sent photos and videos and helped me feel comfortable as this was my first time leaving my dog with someone.
Fernando was great taking care of Buddy while I was out of town. Was very responsive and extremely helpful - would definitely recommend!
I'm almost at a loss for words when trying to describe how wonderful Fernando is with my baby. I have a large, doberman, male who is still a puppy. He needs a lot of stimulation, play and exercise. He can be a handful. However, the amount of patience, cuddles and love Fernando gives him warms my heart. Fernando is also very attentive. Sometimes my dog needs redirection and Fernando has mastered that with him. My dog not only loves him but respects him. Every time I leave him with Fernando I know he will be safe and in the best hands. My dog has become best friends with his puppy Lola, and they play non-stop together. Fernando is also very communicative with me. He will tell me when my dog misbehaved, how he played with Lola or other dogs, if he had diarrhea and when he was begging or hyper. He really is a gem and best of all he adores my dog and taking care of him. If you have the pleasure of booking Fernando to watch your dog, you are a lucky owner!
Our first time using Rover, and Fernando did such a good job! He made us feel comfortable, sent lots of updates and pictures without me ever having to ask, and our boys clearly had a great time. Definitely plan on booking with him again next time we need a sitter!

A typical day
I live in a charming area of Midcity near the race tracks in Jazz Fest Central with a very spacious yard to run and play. Your pet will play to exhaustion. I am an avid walker and live for the outdoors, just a few steps from Bayou. St. John and City Park are excellent for lovely walks with your pup. Great walks along Esplanade Avenue, too.
