Hi there, my name is Fernanda, I’m 24 years old. My love for animals started when I was very little. I have 2 dogs myself and I’ve always had pets since I can remember. I’m studying Animal Biology at UofG and I currently work as a Veterinary assistant at a very busy and renowned hospital in the region. I know how important important pets are and how hard it is to leave them behind during the time that they can’t really come with. Fernanda was amazing! 100% would recommend her to anyone looking for dog sitting. She sent lots of pictures over the course of the 3 days which we loved! She took such great care of our 15 year old dog Charly, it was so nice knowing she was in good hands with Fernanda!
Our dog Finnegan is such a good boy but can be a little nervous and timid, especially with new people. Finnegan warmed up to Fernanda so quickly! She is such an angel for taking such amazing care of Finnegan. She sent us updates and pictures every day and was so warm and polite with us. This was an amazing experience and we would 100% recommend Fernanda to anyone! We will always be requesting Fernanda to watch Finnegan in the future because this was such a great experience. Finnegan warmed up to Fernanda in ways unlike any other person he has ever met! I can’t say enough good things about her.
This was our first time using Rover and boarding our two cats. Our experience with Fernanda was fantastic! She was easy to communicate with and we felt at ease leaving our cats in her care. She truly loves animals and took great care of our furbabies. Our cats almost didn’t want to leave when we picked them up! We will be reaching out again for any future pet care when we travel. 100% recommend Fernanda!!!! She was a fantastic sitter from start to finish, and our Frenchie absolutely loved his stay. So much, he didn't even want to leave at pick up time! Top 2 reasons why you should stop your search, and hit that "book" button now: 1. Fernanda genuinely cares for your pets, and comforting to know she has the knowledge to back it up (she works at an animal hospital!!) 2. Fernanda is great with updates. She sends pictures and video daily to make sure you stay connected.
Fernanda was amazing with our dog while we were away. Fernanda and her husband took excellent care of our pup and you can tell they love caring for your pet as though it was their own! Fernanda kept me posted and sent me regular photo updates as well. I felt like we were dropping her off with a family. I would highly recommend Fernanda and will continue to ask her to watch our dog in the future.

At my house animals are treated with care, love and respect. I care about their overall happiness and well being. I have a fenced yard with a lot of space for your pet to run and play. Bowls with fresh water are spread out throughout the house. And cameras watching them playing in the yard as well as inside the house.

A typical day
I love to spend time with animals. Activities will vary depending on each animal’s need. Generally, activities will include fetching toys in the backyard and walking in the neighbourhood.
