Although Walkies with Ferny is a new business, caring for dogs isn’t new to me. I’ve grown up with dogs and have spent many years looking after my own pets as well as those of friends, family and neighbours. As a former primary school teacher, I’m patient, responsible and dependable, and I’m canine first aid trained. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime or simply lots of attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own and keep you updated with regular photos and messages.

Schedule
Pet care is now my full-time focus, so my schedule is flexible to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s regular walks, drop-in visits, daycare or overnight boarding, I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection and one-to-one attention. I always work around your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled.

Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I’m canine first aid trained and take time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality and any specific needs before caring for them. I provide calm, reliable care, follow your instructions closely and send regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is getting on. Home boarding will be available once licensing is complete.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor my visits to suit their routine and personality. Whether it’s a fun walk, playtime with their favourite toys, feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks or simply lots of cuddles and company, I’ll make sure they’re happy, comfortable and well cared for. I’ll always send regular photo and video updates so you can see how they’re getting on.
