Hi, I'm Femke. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends, family, and neighbors for almost a decade. What started as a hobby quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing. Now, I’m excited to turn my passion for dogs into a full-time career, preparing for a degree in Cynology (dog behavior) next year. With hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and intuitive approach. I’ve walked high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, cared for seniors who require slower walks and medication, and provided companionship to anxious or shy dogs who just need someone gentle and understanding. I’m confident in handling leash reactivity, administering basic medications, and keeping routines consistent to help dogs feel safe and secure. My focus is always on building trust, so your dog feels comfortable with me, and fully enjoys the time we spend together.

Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take the time to build trust with each dog, starting with a meet-and-greet to understand their routines, triggers, and preferences. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and stick to safe, familiar routes. I will not do off-leash unless in client-approved spaces and with your explicit consent. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain your routines, respect your space, and provide real-time updates with photos and notes, so you’re always in the loop. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your dog(s) the care and companionship they deserve.

Femke is truly amazing! She took such great care of Mbappé and he misses her already. She sent us the perfect amount of updates and was so thorough and caring. Femke stayed with our two dogs and two cats for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. She is incredible with communication and understood the different needs of our senior dog (who had recently had a procedure and was in a cone) and our very excitable younger dog. Femke provided regular updates, was extremely considerate, and I felt at complete ease knowing the fur family was in her care.
Femke is absolutely amazing! Even from just our meet-and-greet, I can tell that Femke truly cares about my dog and wants to understand his behaviors and preferences. She has walked my dog twice so far, and I will most definitely continue to book with her. She provides detailed updates and lots of photos after the walks, and my dog has never looked happier!
Femke was amazing with my dog. She took the time to make him feel comfortable when he was feeling a bit unsure on their first walk together. She was super easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures and mid walk updates. I will definitely be booking Femke again!
She help us at city hall for our wedding to watch our dog Chico she was great and sending us photos ! Would Highly recommend!

Schedule
I’m studying part-time to prepare for my Cynology (dog behavior) degree next year, and have no other major commitments - your dog gets my full attention. My days revolve around walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, so I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and (most) holidays.
