I've been pet-obsessed my entire life! I grew up around large dogs, multiple cats, hamsters, fish, and even a snake, and I've been caring for others' pets since high school. Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life. - Most recently, I've been helping care for a senior rescue dog named Toby who has severe anxiety and some health issues. When we first met, he was too nervous to let me near him. By the end of our first day together, he was happily curled up beside me on the couch. I've also administered his medications and followed his special potty-break routine, including driving him to quieter neighborhoods where he feels more comfortable. - I also have my own 70-lb rescue dog, Lola, who I've spent the past year training through positive reinforcement, enrichment, and plenty of daily exercise. We've worked on recall, loose-leash walking, impulse control, and staying focused around distractions. - I genuinely love getting to know animals as individuals and paying attention to the little things that help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. As a dog mom myself, I know how much the details matter. My goal is to give your pet thoughtful, reliable care while keeping you in the loop every step of the way. ❤️

I'm a big believer that excellent pet care means actually paying attention. - I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep an eye on your pet's behavior and surroundings, and adjust to their individual personality rather than expecting every dog to behave the same way. I'm especially comfortable taking things slowly with nervous or anxious pets, and I use positive reinforcement whenever appropriate. - For walks, I'm especially mindful of leash security, traffic, other dogs, and your pet's individual triggers. I won't put your dog into situations that make them uncomfortable just to complete a particular route. - You'll also never have to wonder how your pet's visit went. I'll send updates and let you know about anything unusual I notice. If another dog lunges at your dog, your pet seems stressed by something, or if there's a change in your dog's stool, I'll tell you. - Your home gets the same level of respect: I'll follow your instructions, keep things tidy, and make sure everything is secure before I leave.

I highly recommend Felicia as a pet sitter! She has had both cats and dogs her entire life and is incredibly loving, attentive, and caring with animals. I’ve been especially impressed by how thoughtfully and successfully she has been training her new dog, Lola. It’s very clear how much patience and care she puts into her animals. Felicia has also catsat for my two cats, and I couldn’t have been happier with her care. She was wonderful with both of them, and even gave one of my cats medication with ease. Both of my cats felt very comfortable around her, which says a lot about her calm and caring energy. I would absolutely trust Felicia with my pets and highly recommend her for both cats and dogs!
Felicia has always been very good with pets ,especially our dogs.She is very compassionate about them and loves to play with and teach them new tricks. Our dog is pretty excitable, and she was able to get the dog to focus and follow commands. We’ve had several cats and she definitely had a way with them as well. I would hire her in a heartbeat.
Felicia has been good with animals since she was very young. She has always taken good care of our dogs in a gentle and kind way. She is good at teaching dogs new tricks and only uses positive reinforcement. She is great with walking dogs and makes sure they are safe and comfortable.
Felicia took great care of our dog, both for short and long sits (several days). She's very caring and attentive to our rescue dog, while communicating with us frequently, giving us peace of mind to enjoy our vacation. She has a great personality, I strongly recommend her! And more importantly, so does our dog!
Felicia is just the most friendly and outgoing person you can imagine, and so she is loved by people and and their pets alike. :-) She grew up with pets, especially dogs, and will be loving and understanding even with those who are not the easiest. Our dog is very shy and Felicia showed him so much patience and kindness that he quickly warmed up to her. She truly has the well being of the animal at heart and I can always leave knowing that with Felicia I left him in the most loving and very responsible hands.

Schedule
My daytime schedule is currently very flexible, and I'm intentionally keeping it open so I can make pet care a priority. I'm generally available for walks and drop-in visits most times of most days. - I’m happy to work with your pet's usual routine whenever possible, whether that means a midday walk, a quick check-in, or regular walks throughout the week. I also understand that schedules change, so feel free to reach out even if you need something outside of my usual availability - We can always discuss it!

- Tell me ALL about your pet!❤️ When it comes to pet care, there's no such thing as TMI. - I'd love to know anything that will help me give them the best possible care, including their usual routine, personality, favorite treats/toys, and what makes their tail go crazy. - Please also let me know about anything I should be aware of before our first visit (medications, allergies, health concerns, fears, triggers, leash reactivity, quirks, or anything they don't particularly enjoy). For instance, I'd love a heads-up if your dog has a habit of trying to chase squirrels into the next dimension😂 - And I'd also love to know what you want your pet to get out of my visit. Does your dog need to come home completely tuckered out, or are you mainly looking for a potty break and some company? Are you worried about them feeling lonely during the day? Are there any new skills you're working on that you'd like me to reinforce? The more I know, the more I can tailor the visit to what you and your pet actually need!
