Fun, Safe & Enriching Care

Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priority. I have recently completed a Pet First Aid course, where I learned how to recognise and respond to common emergencies such as choking, bleeding, seizures, heatstroke, poisoning and breathing difficulties. I also learned the basic principles of canine CPR, how to assess a dog safely, and when immediate veterinary attention is needed. Although I hope these skills will never be necessary, they help me stay calm and respond appropriately in an emergency. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be my top priorities. I also specialise in caring for puppies and high-energy dogs. I have a young female Black Labrador of my own, whom I have raised and trained myself using positive reinforcement methods. Her training includes house training, lead walking, recall, basic obedience, settling, and impulse control. Caring for and training her has given me valuable hands-on experience with puppy development and adolescent behaviour. If you would like, I can incorporate short, reward-based training sessions throughout your dog's stay to help reinforce good manners and build positive habits. Every session is tailored to your dog's age, personality, and ability, and is always kept fun, positive, and engaging. As I am available full-time, your dog will receive constant supervision, regular toilet breaks, frequent walks, and plenty of one-to-one attention. I don't have another job competing for my focus, allowing me to dedicate my time entirely to the dogs in my care. Mental enrichment is an important part of my approach. While your dog is awake, I provide a variety of activities suited to their individual needs, including snuffle mats, sniffing games, tug play, lick mats, KONGs filled with healthy treats, food puzzles, and other confidence-building activities. These help keep dogs mentally stimulated as well as physically exercised, which is especially important for puppies and active breeds. Dogs are never left unsupervised during play, enrichment activities, or interactions with other dogs. I carefully monitor body language and energy levels to ensure every dog feels comfortable and safe. Before every walk, I double-check leads, collars, and harnesses, and fresh water is always available. I also carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and any special requirements. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision. Every dog has their own personality, routine, and preferences, so I take the time to get to know them and tailor their care accordingly. Some dogs thrive on training sessions, puzzle toys, and active games, while others are happiest with relaxed walks, plenty of sniffing opportunities, and a quieter day. My goal is always to provide a safe, enriching, and enjoyable environment where each dog feels comfortable, confident, and well cared for. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy eager to learn, a playful adolescent who enjoys plenty of mental stimulation, or a laid-back companion who prefers a slower pace, I'll adapt their day to suit their individual needs. I genuinely enjoy helping dogs build confidence, have fun, and feel at home while you're away, and I aim to give every dog the same level of care, patience, and attention that I give my own. To help you feel confident and connected, I will provide daily photo and video updates, and I am always happy to send additional photos, videos, text updates on demand. You will never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I also recommend a meet & greet prior to boarding to ensure we are a great fit and that your dog feels comfortable in our home.

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our border collie for the week. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in safe hands. We received regular photo and video updates every day, which gave us complete peace of mind and showed just how much fun she was having. She took our dog on a variety of adventures, including woodland walks, open fields, and different parks, so every day was exciting and mentally stimulating. Rather than walking the same route every day, she made sure our dog had new places to explore and plenty of opportunities to sniff, play, and enjoy herself. At home, she was with the dogs full-time, so they were never left feeling lonely. She spent lots of quality time with them, giving them cuddles, playing tug and fetch, using snuffle mats and puzzle toys, hiding treats for scent games, and providing lick mats and other enrichment activities to keep them mentally engaged. She also made sure they had plenty of time to relax and nap after their adventures. It was obvious that she genuinely cares about every dog she looks after and treats them like her own. Our girl came home happy, relaxed, and incredibly well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, experienced, and attentive dog sitter.

Having witnessed Feiran care for her Labrador, i can say she is an excellent caregiver! She always has a genuine excitement and loving heart to support her Labrador during enrichment sessions, and has an extremely stable mood when caring for dogs and pups of all sizes and breeds. She is excellent at reading dog body language and understanding their needs in the appropriate moment. I would never have any concerns if my dog was under her care.

Schedule

I am available full-time, which allows me to dedicate my attention to the dogs in my care throughout the day. Because I am home most of the time, dogs can enjoy regular toilet breaks, walks, play sessions, enrichment activities, and plenty of companionship. This is especially beneficial for puppies and young dogs who require more frequent supervision, structured routines, and opportunities for training and mental stimulation. I am available on both weekdays and weekends and will do my best to accommodate your dog’s usual schedule.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, secure one-bedroom flat and have access to a private gated garden within the building, providing a safe outdoor space for regular toilet breaks and fresh air throughout the day. Because I am available full-time, dogs receive close supervision and are never left alone. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and daily routines to ensure consistency and comfort.

A typical day

A typical day starts around 7:00 am with a toilet break, followed by an early morning walk. I like to vary our walking routes to keep things interesting, so we regularly explore the large open field near my flat, the Thames Barrier, and, if your dog enjoys new adventures, I'll sometimes take them on the bus for a forest walk. After our morning walk, we'll head home for breakfast (following your dog's usual routine), then it's time to relax. Dogs are welcome to nap, cuddle, or simply unwind after their walk. I believe rest is just as important as exercise, especially for puppies and young dogs. Once everyone has recharged, the afternoon is all about mental enrichment and fun. Depending on your dog's personality and preferences, we might enjoy snuffle mats, lick mats, KONGs, puzzle toys, tug games, scent work, or short positive reinforcement training sessions to reinforce good manners and build confidence. In the evening, if the weather is comfortable, we'll head out for a second walk, usually to the large field near my flat. Dogs can enjoy plenty of sniffing, playing chase, ball games, and exploring at their own pace. After the evening walk, we will have a calm wind-down period at home. This is usually a time for relaxing, cuddles, gentle attention, and settling before bedtime. When it's time to sleep, your dog will have a comfortable and quiet place to rest, following their usual sleeping routine as closely as possible. Throughout the day, I provide regular toilet breaks—typically every 2 hours for adult dogs and every hour for puppies (or more frequently if needed). Fresh water is always available, and I adapt each dog's routine based on their age, energy level, personality, and individual needs. My goal is to provide a balanced day with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and rest, so every dog feels happy, safe, and comfortable while staying with me.

Before your dog's stay, I would love to know as much as possible about their personality, routine, and individual needs so I can make them feel comfortable and settled. Please let me know about: * Their usual daily routine, including feeding times, toilet habits, and sleeping arrangements * Their personality, energy level, likes and dislikes * Any training they are currently working on and the commands they know * How they behave around other dogs, people, children, and new environments * Any fears, sensitivities, triggers, or behaviours I should be aware of * Any medical needs, allergies, medications, or special requirements * Their favourite activities, toys, treats, and ways they like to relax For puppies, it is especially helpful to know their current toilet training progress, nap schedule, chewing habits, and any routines you would like me to continue while they are with me. Every dog is unique, so the more I understand about your dog before their stay, the better I can tailor their experience and help them feel safe, happy, and at home.
