Hello, My name is Ahmet, and I'm from Turkey. I study computational linguistics at the University of Tübingen. In our household in Turkey, we have four cats: 1. **Ponçik**: She's our first baby. She lets us pet her and pick her up, but she can get aggressive when she doesn't want to be handled. I'm the only one she allows to cut her nails. She's elegant and cute and doesn't eat everything. 2. **Minnoş**: Our second cat. He had an eye infection and was about to go blind when we took him in, treated his wounds, and tried to find him a new home. He loves to play with plastic bags and hate to taken up! But he's never aggressive.Unfortunately, some people adopted him but returned him, so he stays with us. He looks like a Russian Blue and has a smoke-colored coat, but he's a stray cat from the streets. 3. **Mucize**: Mucize means "miracle" in Turkish. When we found her, she couldn't move her hind legs, and we thought she was paralyzed. She was as big as a hand and stuck to the pavement under the hot sun. The vet told us not to bother as she wouldn't make it, but we took care of her and noticed she was just tired, not paralyzed. She has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, so we give her epilepsy medicine twice a day. She's white and cute. 4. **Portakal**: We also found him on the streets with infected eyes. We took care of him and noticed that he is playful. He was so cute and playful that we couldn't resist taking him in. This cat is a typical orange cat—he's a mess and not very bright but also funny! And he's my own cat. We have been taking care of our cats for almost eight years. I love them and know that every cat has a unique character. I'm also against breeding and would never buy a cat; all of our cats are from the street.
