Our second time using Fayth. She is extremely clean and takes excellent care of our pups! Would recommend her to anyone and would happily have her back again.

Drop-In Visits • Aug 13, 2024

Fayth went above and beyond in caring for my two large dogs. There were unforseen complications during the drop-ins which Fayth handled amazing well and communicated with me that allowed me to enjoy my time away and not be concerned about my pets. I would trust her with my pets anytime.

Pets

A typical day

1. Routine Walks: For dogs, regular walks are essential. Stick to the pet’s usual walking schedule to provide them with exercise and mental stimulation. 2. Playtime: Engage in play sessions using the pet’s favorite toys. This could include fetch, tug-of-war, or using interactive toys that challenge their mind. 3. Training and Commands: Reinforce basic obedience commands or teach new tricks using positive reinforcement methods like treats and praise. This keeps the pet mentally stimulated and strengthens your bond. 4. Cuddling and Affection: Spend quality time cuddling or petting the animal, especially if they enjoy physical affection. This helps reduce anxiety and makes them feel secure. 5. Exploration Time: Allow the pet to explore their environment safely, either indoors or in a secure outdoor area. This satisfies their curiosity and provides new sensory experiences. 6. Grooming Sessions: Brush the pet’s fur, trim their nails, or clean their ears as needed. Regular grooming keeps them comfortable and healthy. 7. Treat Puzzles and Interactive Feeders: Use treat-dispensing toys or puzzle feeders to make mealtime more engaging and mentally stimulating. 8. Bubble Play: Blow pet-safe bubbles and let the pet chase and pop them. This is especially fun for both dogs and cats. 9. Bird Watching or Window Watching: For indoor cats or curious dogs, set up a comfortable spot by a window where they can watch birds or other outdoor activities. 10. Hide and Seek: Hide treats or toys around the house and encourage the pet to find them. This is a great way to engage their natural hunting instincts. 11. Water Play: If the pet enjoys water, set up a shallow pool or use a hose for some fun water play. This is particularly enjoyable on hot days. 12. Quiet Time and Rest: Ensure the pet has time to relax and rest in a comfortable spot. Some pets may need more downtime than others, especially older animals. 13. Interactive Games: Use apps or games designed for pets, such as cat games that simulate moving objects on a tablet. 14. Socialization (if appropriate): If the pet is social and enjoys the company of other animals, consider arranging playdates with other friendly pets. Ensure this is done in a controlled and safe manner. 15. Keep Up with Routine: Stick to the pet’s regular feeding, walking, and medication schedule to maintain consistency and reduce stress.
