I work part time, spending the rest of my week caring for my dog and planning pet visits. Your pet's needs will always be a priority to me, and I am very comfortable being flexible around my work to meet them. Additionally, pet welfare always comes first with me, so will be available for early mornings or late nights during the summer.

I will always encourage meeting your wonderful pets all together first to make sure we're a good match, with an emphasis on being bespoke and customised to your pets' needs. For dogs specifically, I can offer both 1 to 1 care or, should you prefer they spend some time socialising with others, bring along my very friendly dog Nessie. Walked dogs will always be returned washed and dried, so there'll be no nasty surprises when you get home!

I believe that the more I know about your pet the better, and especially important to me is any of their personal boundaries, socialisation preferences and reactivity. I am very happy to work with more reactive or antisocial pets, but to ensure their comfort would benefit from as much detail on their behaviour ahead of time as possible.
A typical day
When I'm caring for your pets, my emphasis will be on tayloring to their comfort and enjoyment. My knowledge of the local area especially lets me customise dog walks to their individual needs. Whether it's a river or the beach to swim or a forest for some alone time to run, I'll make sure every walk suits your dog as best it can.

I live and breathe pets, caring for my own dogs since I was a child, including rescues and puppies. Every pet has its own unique charms, and my extensive personal experience caring for both my own animals and others' gives me patience and understanding when getting to know them. Additionally, my part-time work is directly with pet care, giving me a wealth of professional expertise, supplemented by undertaking specialised dog first aid training. Fully DBS checked and insured.

Faye is one of the few people we trust to look after Zula, our sensitive vizsla. Faye is knowledgeable, kind, patient and calm, which is exactly what our dog needs. We use Faye for dog walking and dog sitting and Zula is always so happy to see her - it's reassuring for us to know we are leaving her with someone who provides such good care.
