Safety, trust & environment

While in my care your pets will have their own personal indoor/outdoor space, no contact with any other dogs for safety reasons. I believe in safety first, and I will never force your pet to do anything that it doesn't want to do. I'm only a short term caregiver to them, and I will do my best to make their visit here as comfortable as I possibly can. I have a single car garage that is setup like a living room. A radio, television, webcam, couch, carpeting. If your pet is destructive when left alone I have a 4x8x6 kennel in the garage. I also have fans, A/C, and heat. There's a doggie door that goes out to a 10x10 outdoor, covered kennel. When I'm home they also have their own private access to the front yard. I have several high quality Retriever kennels (covered) on my concrete patio that I can convert into a 10x20. 2-10x10s, or 4-5x10s. I have a huge outdoor run, measuring 80ft long, 16ft wide and 6ft high. The dog run is attached to the garage and covered with a privacy screen. I have an Akbash LGD that is an escape artist, he can climb over a 10ft fence, and has even pulled the boards off my privacy fence, so my yard is very secure with slanted inward top, plus fence is reinforced with wire fencing over the privacy fence. My setup may not be the prettiest, but it is clean, pest free, highly functional, safe, comfy, and the dogs seem to enjoy staying. The house/yard is surrounded by 4 webcams, as well as a webcam in the garage. I also have a camper that I can spend overnight with your pet one on one, if they are struggling with being separated from you.

Information Faye C. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, likes/dislikes, so the experience of being cared for by a stranger is as positive as possible for them. Please be sure and bring their favorite bed, blanket, toy, and food/treats. Anything that will make being away from you a little less stressful. ✌️❤️🐶

A typical day

I will do whatever fun activities you suggest, so that your pet will have the best experience possible. I think it's extremely important to be consistent with their daily routine.

Dogs Love Me!!!

Pet care experience

Approximately 18 years ago I saved 2 dogs from being euthanized that were living in cages in a FL landfill. Little did I know that it would set me on a path of wanting to rescue more. I moved to WA and started volunteering for several rescues and quickly discovered that it was my passion. I did a lot of long distance transports, fundraising events, fostering, and met a lot of great people along the way. I bought a home 8 years ago, because I wanted to start my own in home rescue. Since that time I have fostered 82 dogs, including 3 litters of large breed puppies. I would love to move to the country and do this full time, eventually. I can care for dogs of all sizes, temperament, and ages. Special needs are not a problem.

Faye was wonderful and communicative! We received daily photo and updates on our pup, she made sure our dog’s stay was comfortable and fun! We appreciated our dog had other furry pals to hangout with while we were away. Definitely recommend!

Faye recently took care of our Daisy Dog. for 10 days. She was fabulous. She was very flexible with booking and made it easy for us. Daisy was very well cared for during her stay. Faye was very accommodating to Daisy's special needs and made sure Daisy was comfortable. Daisy was lucky enough to get to go for a couple walks and was even brushed a few times. Faye was great about sending texts and pictures to let us know Daisy was doing good. We are so happy we have found a great place for Daisy to stay while we are away. Many thanks to Faye & Sheryl. Daisy will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Faye was great. Flexible with drop off and pick up times. Met us on the pickup with all the girl’s belongings ready to go. Really easy transitions. Provided updates and was very communicative. Thanks so much.
