Availability
I’m at uni until about 5 PM on weekdays, so I’m available to care for pets in the evenings and at night, as well as full days on weekends. I can provide walks, playtime, meals and plenty of attention after classes and I’m happy to work with owners to create a routine that fits their pet’s needs.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to respect their space and routines while keeping them safe and comfortable. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, and any special needs, and I make sure the environment is calm, secure, and stress-free. I give plenty of attention, play, and companionship so pets feel happy and cared for while their owners are away.
Information Fay B. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care, it’s helpful for me to know a few key things about your pets ahead of time: • Any health issues, allergies or dietary requirements. • Their personality, energy level and triggers (e.g., nervousness, reactivity, favourite toys). • Any behaviours on walks, like pulling or excitement around other dogs. • How they like to be handled, cuddled or left alone. • Their routine for feeding, walks, play and quiet time. • Any specific rules or boundaries in the home. I’m fairly short so knowing if a dog is very large or strong helps me plan safe walks and interactions. The more I know in advance, the better I can make them feel happy, safe and comfortable while in my care.
A typical day
A typical day is all about keeping pets happy, comfortable and entertained. For dogs, this might mean a good walk to stretch their legs, fun playtime with their favourite toys and plenty of cuddles or quiet downtime depending on their mood. I also like to mix in games for mental stimulation — practising tricks, sniffy walks or puzzle toys to keep them busy. Being by the beach means we can enjoy seaside walks or head to the river for a swim if they love the water. For cats, I focus on making sure they feel safe and content, with play sessions, interactive toys or just calm company if that’s what they prefer. I always adapt activities to each pet’s personality so they get the perfect balance of exercise, fun and relaxation.

Pet care experience
I have extensive hands-on experience caring for a variety of dogs with different needs and personalities. I am canine first aid trained and have been working full-time as a dog walker and pet sitter for the past five months, gaining practical experience in a wide range of real life situations. I care for my own Romanian rescue dog, who I walk, feed and keep mentally stimulated through training, enrichment games, and regular exercise. When we first brought her home, I attended training classes with her, focusing on building her confidence, teaching good manners, and introducing basic commands and tricks. As she can be slightly reactive, this has given me valuable experience in reading canine body language and helping dogs feel calm, safe, and supported in different environments. Alongside this, I have also supported clients by attending puppy training classes, reinforcing consistency and positive behaviours outside of sessions. My partner and I regularly care for his family’s two Springer Spaniels, Amber and Bleu, ensuring they are well exercised, fed, and given plenty of playtime, affection, and attention. Their high energy levels have strengthened my ability to provide engaging, active care while maintaining structure and routine. With experience ranging from sensitive rescue dogs to lively puppies and energetic breeds, I am confident in adapting my approach to suit each individual dog, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for at all times.

Reviews

Fay was amazing! Fay looked after my two kittens for 5 nights who I had never left before and was very nervous to leave. Fay made me feel at ease as soon as I met her and updated me with messages and pictures to assure me both were ok throughout her stay. I think my kittens were genuinely sad when she left as they had bonded so well with her. Fay stayed at my flat and left it tidy on her departure, I will definitely be booking her again to look after my two kittens and genuinely will feel so much more at ease going away now knowing they are being looked after and loved. Thanks fay!!!!

Last minute help again! Was amazing. Finn had a great time and was sad to see Fay go.

Fay was great. Super communicative and Finn had a wonderful time!
Fay has always been a huge animal lover and has had experience of caring for a multitude of different creatures in our household over many years, including various small rodents, fish, reptiles and our beloved dog, Fetita and Cat, Mao Mao. Fetita is a Romarian rescue dog and Mao Mao is a stray who adopted us so they both have their idiosyncrasies! Fay is used to walking Fetita, who as a previous street dog can be a little unpredictable at times, and is very understanding of her ways and needs. She also regularly walks her boyfriend's spaniels who are a very lively pair! I know she will love your pet, whatever it may be, whole heartedly and always do her utmost to provide it with the appropriate care.
