I have had dogs for almost my entire life, so I know how important it is to have high-quality pet care, and I will do my best to provide your furry family the care they deserve. I have extensive experience with senior dogs (I currently have one), as well as dogs with complex dietary/medical needs (provided thorough/elaborate written instruction). Regarding my experience with special needs dogs, one of my most recent dogs was born deaf, and I was able to successfully raise and train her from puppyhood so she was able to live a fulfilled life. I am also currently raising and training a puppy, so I am able to apply this experience as well. Although I am more comfortable working with dogs, I am also able to care for cats as well as "small animals" such as reptiles (for housesitting/drop-ins). I look forward to working with you and becoming friends with your pets!

Faryl has watched both of my dogs multiple times. A dry we every visit both of them are happy and calm. My special needs puppy has been supervised for any issues and monitored to make sure there are no negative interactions between her and other dogs.
I first met Faryl when he needed a sitter for his two dogs Dottie and Boris. After watching them many times, roles reversed when Faryl agreed to watch my two dogs while I was away for the holidays. I wouldn't trust many people with my guys' wellbeing; but Faryl is an exception and someone I know is both capable and trustworthy when you're away and need someone to entrust the critters to. He has a great deal of experience with dogs; especially when it comes to more challenging aspects like caring for elderly pets with different conditions and medical needs. He's also raising a new puppy and doing a fine job of it while getting reacquainted with everything that comes with teaching a pup how to be a big dog. There aren't a lot of sitters in a small town like this; so he's a welcome and much needed individual for the pet people of Winnemucca that you can certainly count on when you need someone to look after your animals.
Faryl is thoughtful and attentive when listening to you describe your pets needs. He even takes notes! Because of this, I've never had to worry that my animals are getting the care they need when I go out of town. Thanks Faryl!
Faryl has taken care of my three Staffords for the past few years. Never have I had a reason to worry! I know that Faryl has everything under control and will reach out should any questions or issues pop up! Faryl is my go to whenever I need to travel without the dogs!!!

Schedule
I currently work nights for a fully remote job, so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking on or spending time with pets. Because I live in downtown Winnemucca, I am in a convenient location for both checking in on your pets and sharing my home with your furry family. There are times I may need to work while housesitting, which can be discussed further at time of booking.

Safety, trust & environment
Because I promise to treat your pets like my own, I value communication and transparency above all else. If you have instructions, I will follow them, but if I have questions about anything, I will not hesitate to contact you using your preferred method. I always want us to be on the same page so there are no surprises and no lingering worries. Regarding my home, I do have a fenced yard, but since the fence does need improvement, I also have at least one lead/tie-out for potential escape artists. Small dogs will always be monitored and/or kept on leash in the front yard for their safety. Interactions with my puppy will also be monitored, in case she is too intense and they need to be separated.
