I have a very pet-friendly routine! I am home for the vast majority of the day, only stepping out for about 2–3 hours at most. This means plenty of potty breaks, backyard playtime, and companionship for your dog or cat. My wife is also home in the evenings, so there is almost always someone around to provide cuddles and keep an eye on our furry guests.

In our home, safety and exercise go hand-in-hand. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, sniff, and play under my direct supervision. I never leave guest pets unattended outdoors, ensuring they are always secure while getting their fresh air and exercise. Inside, our home is pet-proofed and calm. Because I am home for the vast majority of the day, your pet is under nearly constant supervision. When I do step out for a quick 2–3 hour window, pets are kept in a secure, comfortable area to ensure they stay safe and relaxed. We treat every guest with the same care and caution we’ve given our own pets for decades.

To make sure your pet has a great stay, please let me know about their personality and any specific needs. Since we enjoy morning trail hikes, it’s helpful to know how they handle a leash and if they are up to date on flea and tick prevention. I’d also love to know if they have any allergies and how they feel about being alone for a few hours. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible, so just let me know what works best for them!
A typical day
Our day is built around keeping your dog active, engaged, and happy. We start every morning with an invigorating hike through local nature trails—perfect for burning off energy and exploring the outdoors. Once we return, the dogs have the freedom to relax or play in our big, fenced backyard. Since I am home most of the day, I’m always available for 'sniffari' breaks and backyard fun. Around 3:00 or 4:00 PM, we head out for our second long walk of the day to ensure everyone is well-exercised before dinner. The rest of the evening is dedicated to winding down with plenty of companionship and belly rubs. Between the morning trails, afternoon walks, and a safe yard to roam in, your dog will have a true vacation of their own!
