Pet care experience

Loving pet care in a calm home

I’m a reliable and caring dog sitter based in Naperville. I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and love throughout the day. I have experience caring for small and medium, sized dogs with different personalities and needs, including senior dogs, high-energy pups, and dogs that require daily medications or special routines. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family while they are in my care. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment with walks, playtime, cuddles, and regular updates for pet parents. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I truly treat every dog as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Fanny was very attentive and communicative while looking after our dog, Rocco. He is a York Terrier, 10 and a half years old, and although he is very healthy, he always requires attention and affection—which she provided. We highly recommend her for her care, communication, and total support.

Schedule

As a pet owner who is working from home, you have the advantage of being able to spend more time with your dog throughout the day. Here's a suggested routine to help you incorporate your dog's care into your daily schedule: Morning: 1. Wake up at your usual time and start your day with your morning routine. 2. Take your dog for a morning walk or play session to get some exercise and fresh air. This will also help them relieve themselves. 3. Feed your dog breakfast at their designated mealtime. Provide fresh water and ensure they have access to it throughout the day. Work Time: 4. Set up a designated area for your dog near your workspace. This can be a comfortable bed or a cozy spot where they can relax while you work. 5. Take short breaks every few hours to spend quality time with your dog. This could include petting, playing with toys, or going for a quick walk around the block. These breaks will help keep your dog engaged and prevent them from feeling neglected. Lunchtime: 6. During your lunch break, take your dog outside for a longer walk or play session. This will give them an opportunity to burn off energy and stretch their legs. 7. After the walk, provide them with a small snack or treat to keep them satisfied until dinnertime. Afternoon: 8. Resume your work, ensuring your dog has access to their bed or designated area near your workspace. 9. If possible, incorporate mental stimulation activities for your dog throughout the day. This can include puzzle toys or training sessions to keep their mind active. Evening: 10. Finish your work for the day and make time for your dog's evening exercise. Take them for a longer walk or engage in interactive play to help them release energy. 11. Prepare and serve your dog's dinner at their designated mealtime. 12. Spend quality time with your dog in the evening. This can include cuddling, training, or playing interactive games. 13. Before bedtime, take your dog out for a final bathroom break and ensure they have access to fresh water. Remember, each dog has different needs, so adjust this routine according to your dog's age, breed, and energy level. It's important to provide them with both physical and mental stimulation throughout the day to keep them happy and content.
