I’ll love your fur baby like my own

Hi! My name is Fabian. I have a Masters degree from Pepperdine University. I work from home as an Emergency Case Manager. My past experience includes working with children ages 1- 17 years old- from conducting medical research at UCLA Medical Center, teaching English in China, and as a residential counselor for a mental health facility. I also have experience caring for my two family dogs- a chihuahua and a maltipoo. I am located in the San Fernando Valley, but I’m willing to travel further to do pet/ house sitting. Thank you for considering me, hope to hear from you soon! :)

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I work from home, and my schedule is very flexible, so there won’t be any issues coordinating walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. For longer stays, I can simply bring my laptop and portable Wi-Fi, allowing me to remain fully available while continuing to work remotely.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I currently work for a government agency and have passed extensive background checks, so you can rest assured that your pets and home will be in the care of a trustworthy and responsible adult.

A typical day

I love keeping pets active, engaged, and comfortable while their owners are away. Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, practicing basic commands with positive reinforcement, giving lots of attention and cuddles, and providing enrichment through toys and interactive play. For more relaxed pets, I’m also happy to simply keep them company, stick to their routine, and make sure they feel safe and cared for.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, personality, and any medical conditions or medications. It’s also very helpful to know how they behave around strangers, other animals, loud noises, or when left alone. I always ask about favorite toys, walking habits, house rules, emergency contacts, and anything that helps keep the pet comfortable, safe, and stress-free while you’re away.
