Hi, I’m Martyn — lifelong animal fan, late-bloomer cat dad. Growing up, I couldn’t have pets because of family allergies, but I’m trying to making up for lost time. Since moving to London and finally having my own place with my partner we have been fostering cats through Feline Friends. For the last year and more we have looked after a range of cats — from confident older cats to shy kittens finding their feet. Some standouts: Hector (a proper gentleman), Mouse (not small at all in reality), Archie (big drama queen), and our current duo, Hansel and Gretel — two black kittens who are confidently developing their cuddling skills. Outside of cats, I’m a graphic designer from wales. I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter and currently working for a college in east London so have a current and clean DBS. I’d like to say that I’m reliable, easygoing, and patent so hopefully the perfect cat sitter! I’m not expecting cats to trust me instantly and more than happy to wait for them to come to me when they’re ready (but no promises that I won’t bribe them with treats). I’m hoping that cat sitting can be a way for me to meet more cats (and lovely humans), while helping out a bit with the cost of, well… life.
