I am currently completing a Master’s degree through an online program at the University of South Florida, which gives me significant flexibility. This allows me to be present with your pet for much of the day rather than coming and going frequently. I’m especially well suited for pets who benefit from companionship, consistency, and close monitoring.

Safety, trust & environment

Animals tend to trust me quickly, especially those who are shy, cautious, or “not usually friendly.” During the Meet and Greet, I usually sit on the floor so I’m at their level and allow them to come to me in their own time. It often puts parents at ease to see their pet relax, approach on their own terms, and settle in naturally. While you’re away, I follow your instructions closely so your pet’s routine stays as familiar as possible, helping them feel secure and comfortable. I understand that I’m entering your pet’s space, not the other way around. My goal is for them to feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for, not just watched.

Information Evie T. would like to know about your pet

The more I understand about your pet, the better care I can provide. Anything that helps me keep their routine familiar and their stress low is always appreciated. Helpful things to share include: • How your pet typically reacts to other dogs, people, or new situations while out walking • Anything that tends to make them nervous or uncomfortable (for example: storms, fireworks, strangers, certain handling, or being left alone), and what usually helps • Bathroom habits and walking routes, including if they let you know when they need to go out and how • Whether they tend to eat plants, objects, or other things they shouldn’t, and how you usually handle it • Commands, cues, or hand signals you use • Any medications or supplements they take, how they’re given, and what to watch for • Furniture rules, sleeping preferences, and any off-limits areas • Anything else you do at home to help your pet feel calmer or more comfortable Every detail you share helps me care for your pet in a way that feels familiar, reassuring, and consistent while you’re away.🐾

A typical day

There really is no single “typical” day, because every pet is different, so I base it entirely on your pet’s personality, energy level, and preferences. That might mean walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddling, or simply keeping them company. My focus is always on helping your pet feel relaxed, safe, and at home while you’re away.

Pet care experience

I have had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and yes, even a hermit crab. I have also lived in a household with reptiles, including snakes, a bearded dragon, and geckos, so I am comfortable caring for a wide range of animals and personalities. I currently live in a household with six adopted stray cats and three dogs. I am very familiar with multi-pet homes, different temperaments, and balancing individual needs. I have hands-on experience administering medications, including pills, tablets, topical ear medications, and injections. I am also comfortable providing geriatric care, including diaper use for senior dogs. I do not provide potty training or crate training for puppies. Otherwise, I am happy to give pets the extra patience, attention, and care they may need.

Evie went above that of a dog sitter. We have used her several times and she loves our dog. She is a challenge in that she won’t eat sometimes and has to have insulin injections. She works with her and I really feel like she loves her. 100% recommend her
