Our home is welcome to your pet
As dog owners, we prefer to take our dog with us when we went out of town, but we all know we don't always have that opportunity. I know it is hard to leave your pet with people you don't know, but knowing that your pet is comfortable with other pet loving people is quite nice. We will treat your pet as if they were our own. We had a dog, Rocky, that was almost 16 when we had to say goodbye, so we know how important a pet is to the family. About a year ans a half ago, we finally felt healed enough to get another dog. We rescued a standard schnauzer named Bug. After some training and extra love, we feel he is at a point where we can and furry friends over. We are active with our dog and dog friends. We do daily walks in our neighborhood and love to take drives to the beach for nice, long walks. Why I love dog sitting I have always big a big fan of dogs since I was a kid. I dog sat my neighbor's chows when I was little, but never had a dog on my own growing up (mom and dad wouldn't allow). I was a dog owner myself for over 15 years and love all breeds. My experience administering medication Pill form, yes...Injections, I have never done before and would be nervous to do it at first, but I am willing to try if you would need me to.

Schedule
I work full-time from home and am available for getting outside for walks throughout the day or night. I am active and appreciate the dogs who are as well. Keeps me young 😉

We have a large yard that we are getting plans to landscape, but it's not fully gated. We don't fully trust any dog to run freely out there just yet.
Pets
A typical day
Any outside time will be long walks with me around the neighborhood and outings to the dog park and/or beach. It's best for both of us for your doggo to get all their energy out. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Wherever they feel comfortable. I have had dogs sleep on the couch, on the floor next to my bed, and even on my bed. Time I'll spend with your dog I will take them on three walks a day (morning, evening and night), on evening when it is still light out, I do like to go to the dog park. On weekends, we can be out at the park or the beach for hours.

- I have no preference on the breed. If your dog has health issues and needs extra attention, I may charge a little more. Meet and greets are preferred to make sure you and your dog feel comfortable.
