When caring for pets in another home, I aim to respect the home and maintain your pets schedule as closely as possible in order to minimise stress. This includes regular feeding, walks, playtime and lots of cuddles, as well as any specific instructions you may have for your pet. Ensuring that not just yourself, but also your pet are comfortable and happy are always my top priorities.

Evelyn was excellent with Sully and was able to manage his excitable, high energy temperament perfectly. She provided us with regular updates and photos while we were away and left our apartment in perfect condition! Would definitely recommend.
Evelyn was really friendly and great with my cat Leia. She provided plenty of updates without being overbearing and I was more than happy with how she was looked after. She clearly took time to spend time with Leia and play with her. Would definitely book again when needed

Evelyn came prepared with questions and notes on our initial meeting and she got on well with my dog Alfred. She sent me updates and pictures while I was gone. She was also a nice and clean guest at mine. I highly recommend her and would love to book her again!
Evelyn was great with my timid sausage dog who warmed to her right away. Very easy to communicate with, punctual and I came home to a happy dog!
I appreciated that she came to the welcome meeting and tried to find out as much as possible about the pets' daily routine. We also had excellent communication, including regular updates and photos. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work from home and can adjust my schedule to work from home on any day while you're away, provided I have at least a week's notice. This means your pet can enjoy plenty of company, attention and care throughout the day.

- To make sure your dog gets the very best care, it’s really helpful for me to have a good understanding of their routine, personality, and any special requirements before I arrive. I’ll usually ask for details like your preferred vet and the best way to contact them, along with an emergency contact if I can’t reach you. It’s also important to know about any medical history, allergies, conditions, or medications, as well as whether they’re fully up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. Understanding their behaviour is just as important, so I like to know how they are around strangers, children, and other animals, plus any fears, triggers, or things that help comfort them if they get anxious. Their energy levels and training are really useful too, including any commands they know and how much exercise, playtime, and toilet breaks they usually need, along with their sleep routine. I’ll also ask about their diet, portion sizes, and feeding schedule, as well as anything they particularly love, like favourite toys, treats, or games. It’s helpful to know whether they’re more outdoor-adventurous or prefer a cosy indoor setup, and if there are any restricted areas in your home I should be aware of. The more I know in advance, the easier it is for me to keep things consistent, comforting, and tailored so your dog feels safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away.
