Why I love pet sitting My parents owned a pet store for the first three years of my life. There was a menagerie of dogs, cats, fish and birds at home upon my arrival. I was given my first puppy about the time I first spoke and soon after I was learning to care for two rescued ducks. I've been the loving owner of numerous pound puppies, small to large, from truly mixed mutts to Golden Retrievers, Standard Poodles, and a Samoyed.
