I have been taking care of my dog for 6 years now and we have been best friends ever since. And I am not just saying this, Echo (my dog) and I truly connect with and care for each other not only physically but emotionally as well, in a way even better than my partner and I sometimes. Echo would always be the first one to sense my emotional changes and come to comfort me by standing up on me and pawing me until he makes sure that I become perfectly happy, and not just by judging my body languages, he can actually sense how my internal emotions change, which is pretty magical! Every dog has such a unique personality, I enjoy the process of getting to know each one of them and interacting with doggies in their own ways and languages that they prefer, respecting their needs and boundaries while satisfying their craving for love.

I was very pleased with Evelyn taking care of my fur baby Luna. I explained how finicky she is and how she has separation anxiety when away from home and Evelyn handled it very well. I loved how she kept me up to date with pictures and videos on how she was getting comfortable daily. Would definitely go with Evelyn again.
Evelyn was great—super communicative and kept me updated daily with photos and videos, which I really appreciated. She was also really flexible with my hectic schedule, making things easy on my end. It’s clear she cares and is reliable, which is all you can really ask for in a sitter. Would definitely book with her again.
Evelyn R is such a caring pet sitter! We were visiting our relatives back on the East Coasr for a week and needed a pet sitter for our 2 fur babies- Charlie and Tea! We hired Evelyn based from the numerous 5 star reviews we saw from Rover website. It was our first time using her! During those seven days, she texted us at least twice a day of pictures and videos of them!

Evelyn is the best sitter you could ever ask for! My little baby needed somewhere to stay while I was in the middle of moving houses and Evelyn took in my little dachshund Sweetie right when I needed her. Schedule
I currently work from home and have flexible schedules. I make sure to always pay enough attention to the doggies I have around: frequently playing with them depending on how they like it, checking if they have enough water and food, letting them go on potty breaks constantly, giving them treats, talking to them, belly rubbing them, and taking them on a walk regularly so they could explore the world.

I have an open-floor plan house with two stories, plenty of space and a fenced yard, all doggies are allowed on our bed, couch, and rugs. There were so many dogs whom I used to watch just loved spending time with me on my bed while I was working there, they just felt right like home. There is also a large football field in my neighbourhood where I love to take doggies on a walk on a nice sunny day. Additionally, I promise to always keep your dog safe whenever I open the door for a package or something, so they will never get lost under my watch. It always hurts me to see posts of lost dogs on Facebook…
Pets
A typical day
I woke up at around 7:30 AM and the first thing I will do is to let the dogs out for a potty break. After that, I love to just spend some time with them, talking to them, playing with them (play fights, tug-of-war, playing fetch, etc. whatever they like!), and feeding them if needed. Around 10AM or late afternoon is when I love to take the doggies on a walk if it’s not a busy day with nice weather. If it's a nice day, I let them smell for as long as they’d like, it’s their way of scrolling through “social media” ? I will usually let your doggies go on a potty break in the yard at least every two hours. I watch for the doggies’ body languages and signs frequently throughout the day, making sure I am noticing their needs and giving them the attention they deserve. Finally, before I go to sleep at around 11PM, I will let them go on a potty break one last time and play with them to make sure they have released all their energy and are ready for a sweet dream. I will tuck them in their bed/cage, if they don’t have one, they are always free to sleep on our couch with a comfy blanket set up for them. For some small dogs who have separation anxieties while sleeping, I will try my best to make space so they could sleep with me on my bed overnight.
