I work in a school so I have extra availability in the summers and holidays. Starting in September I will also be going to UVIC in Langford and can also do some walks in that area as well.

I currently have a new puppy so won’t be boarding dogs in my home at the moment. I treat all dogs and cats as if there were my own.
Information Evelyn P. would like to know about your pet
As every owner has their own way of dealing with their pets, I always want to know how each owner deals with negative behaviours and rewards positive ones; does the owner limit treats, are there any triggers for the pet (I owned a dog who was scared of trains, so it was always good it know beforehand if any parks had a railway behind them before we went for our walks). I love all breeds, especially larger dogs that are interested in being outside!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks in areas with beautiful scenery. Victoria has so many wonderful parks and beaches as well as dog parks if your dog is used to socializing in that type of environment.

Pet care experience
Growing up in Ontario, my household has always had pets and I had the pleasure of caring for a number of wonderful dogs amongst other smaller pets. Since moving to Vancouver Island 10 years ago, I have sitted and walked many dogs previously when living in Ladysmith. Having now settled in Victoria, I am ready again to meet some new furry friends. I work in a school so am quite flexible with my time and have extra availability in the summer months.
