Hi, I’m Evie! I’m a 22 y/o dog mom + lover who truly can’t imagine life without them. I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and over the past 8+ years I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and backgrounds. Whether it’s overnight pet sitting, daily walks, dog training, special needs/ trauma care, senior care, or simply giving extra love and attention while you’re away, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. One of the biggest parts of my life is working with rescue dogs. I’m incredibly passionate about animal welfare and have experience fostering, transport/TAG work, and helping dogs coming from high kill shelters and heartbreaking situations. Most recently, I had the amazing opportunity to help organize and be hands on with the Ridglan beagle rescue. Through my entire rescue work, I’ve gained a lot of experience caring for dogs with trauma backgrounds, anxiety, and special needs. I understand that some dogs need a little extra patience, slower introductions, or a more individualized approach, and I’m always happy to meet them where they are. I also have a huge heart for senior dogs. Whether your pup needs medications, a slower paced walk, extra potty breaks, or just a calm and comforting presence, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so I’ll always treat them with the same kindness and attention I’d want for my own. Thanks to word of mouth and referrals, I’ve been lucky to build wonderful relationships with local families and their pups through pet sitting and dog walking. I’m happy to provide references, reviews, and testimonials so you can feel completely comfortable and confident. At the end of the day, this isn’t just a side job for me, it’s something I genuinely love. I’m the kind of person who will celebrate your dog’s goofy personality, stick to their routine, send an absurd amount and photos, and make sure they get all the love, enrichment, and belly rubs they deserve. Evie was amazing with our Scout, which allowed my family to really enjoy our vacation with no worries at all. She cared for him like he was her own, playing with him, taking him for walks and making sure he stayed safe during the recent heat wave. She communicated with us daily, sending updates and pictures. I highly recommend Evie and will definitely rebook the next time we go out of town!

Evie was as good as it gets when it comes to boarding our Great Dane, Stella, at her wonderful home. She kept me updated on Stella as the days went along, sending pictures of her adventures. I could tell that Evie loved watching Stella and it wasn’t just a task for her. I honestly could not recommend a sitter on Rover anymore than Evie. An absolute 10 out of 10!
Evie was fantastic. She stayed overnight at our house for 7 days/nights while we were in Jamaica. I felt very comfortable with her staying and she sent so many photos of our pups! We will definitely use her again. Actually, getting ready to book her for day watching.

Schedule
Im currently a student & work part time now, so my schedule is more flexible and can easily make a good routine for your fur family. I work in childhood special education, and my hours depend on the day of the week. But I am always available in mornings before 9 and typically afternoons starting around 3:30. Some days I am a lot more available & open, so let me know if there are any questions or specifics about this!

Safety, trust & environment
I do both my house and yours! I have a fully fenced in backyard and two senior dogs who are very very friendly. I can easily separate them if preferred and can have a safe space for your dog when needed. If at my house, I make sure to give the pups separate water dishes to protect against any infections or viruses. Either your house or mine, I make sure to take LOTS of pics. I mean LOTS. I want you feeling reassured your loved one is safe and in good hands while either on a small getaway or weeknd work trip. Plus, who wouldn’t want a bunch of dog photos taking up your camera roll ;). I make sure to send lots of updates and also ask for emergency contacts including vet, medication list etc.

A typical day
Lots of Play, pics for owners, and exercise (both physically like walks, & mentally like lick mats and snuffle rugs) are just a few things I do with the dogs I care for. Not to mention cuddles on the couch with a movie from time to time :)
