Golden Rule Treatment
My family grew up with cats, dogs and birds. I have had about 15 years of house- and pet-sitting experience. I will work with most domesticated animals (pretty much anything that doesn't involve me having to kill its food). I have also had experience with handling fussy/nervous animals, and can even visit beforehand to get to know your pet, so that I can build their confidence. You can also trust me with your senior pets and administering medications. I'm excellent at following directions, if you are particular about routines and would like to write me a list. I used to pet- and house-sit for friends, part-time, when I was in the military. As a Vegan, one thing we definitely have in common is that we both want the best for your pet(s)! :)

Safety, trust & environment
I am pretty easy-going when it comes to location and environment. If you'd like me to just stop by for food/water and a safety-check, I'd be happy to. If Fido would like a walk around the neighborhood or dog park, I'm your person! Both of my cats are harness trained, so I can walk yours, too. I love animals more than I love people, but always open to exceptions! :) I am also very generous when it comes to sending pictures of the pet(s), because I know how worrisome it can be to have someone else look after your furbaby <3

Evelyn visited my cat while I was away and did everything requested, including going the extra mile with a couple of free visits that were not originally requested. Will definitely go with Evelyn again if/when I need to travel out of town again.
Evie was absolutely amazing with our cats! We have two cats, one very territorial and one who is an angel. Evie took the time to get to know both of them, and has been the first person outside my family that our bulldog of a cat has accepted into the house! I cannot recommend her enough. Evie is sweet, personable, kind, and patient. We are so lucky to have found her! Thanks, Evie!
She was INCREDIBLY helpful and got to our pups in a timely manner especially after a last minute request! I am so thankful she was able to check on our pets and she even sent photos! Such a blessing!
Evelyn was simply AMAZING with my dog, bob. Anytime my family and I had to go out of town we would ask Evelyn to watch Bob. He adored her. She made sure that he was walked, fed and loved. Bob is a boxer mix, so he had a ton of energy and could get anxious, if put us at ease knowing that Evelyn understood Bobs needs. I could not recommend Evelyn enough. She is dependable, reliable and truly ensures that your dogs needs are taken care of.

Schedule
I am going to school full-time for an MFA in Art and Social Practice with a Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture, so I am available at various times throughout the week. I can work with most schedules.
