Especially for senior animals, please just let me know if they require anything specific. As someone who has many seniors myself, I know that their care can be more complex. For dogs, please just let me know how they are around new people so I can respect their boundaries and make them feel comfortable. Thank you!
A typical day
With both cats and dogs, I make sure I understand where they are age and energy wise. If they need assistance getting up or down, or if they are high energy. I am able to handle it all. If they require lots of activity, I will ensure they get plenty of exercise or play time with their toys.

Pet care experience
Hey Everyone ! Took a break from pet sitting but I am back now🙂 A brief background on myself: my grandfather was a vet, and I have been around animals since I was quite literally a baby. I currently rescue seniors that are on the euthanasia list and give them second chances. I have 7 right now, my oldest being 21! I am very comfortable with all animals. I can give and administer any medicine needed, including insulin for diabetics. I am currently getting my second degree in bioscience/conservation. I can promise you that your fur baby will be in good hands and I treat them as if they are my own. I always provide photos/videos and have open communication at all times.

Evelyn was timely and so respectful. She’s very professional and our senior dog Tye was so comfortable with her. He can be anxious when we leave him but we returned to a happy little guy! She followed instructions for lunch, potty, and care perfectly. I always get nervous leaving my dog with a sitter but definitely plan to book with Evelyn again.
Evelyn took such great care of our cats! She dropped in twice a day to feed them, fill their water, scoop the litter boxes, and give medicine to our senior boy. Both cats got lots of love and cuddles. Evelyn sent us great pictures of them both and it was evident they were well taken care of. We will definitely be booking with her again when we travel!
Evelyn did such an incredible job taking care of my cat! Like most cats, mine can be pretty picky and doesn't always warm up to people right away. She seemed to love Evelyn, and it was a relief to know she was being so well taken care of while we were away. Evelyn came to the house ahead of time, and let me talk her ear off about all of my cat's hopes and dreams before we even left, which gave my partner and I such peace of mind. She is truly passionate about cats, and rescues senior cats herself (good to know as my cat gets older!!) I truly cannot recommend Evelyn enough for watching your cats while you're away. I also loved all of my pictures of my little monster child getting attention while I was gone.
