I am home pretty much all the time I go out for meal or a movie here and there and to get groceries and Dr appts but mostly I am home with the pups! I typically have pick up / drop off from 8am-9pm which is also when I will probably see and respond to messages bit I welcome messages anytime. However I am willing to discuss flexibility on times from earlier to later and see if I could work with it. I typically do overnights but am open to the idea of doggy day care as well as I've had a couple people ask about it and as the weather is nice I look forward to bringing the kiddy pool back out for some water fun!

I offer in home boarding for short and extended stay visits. I have a 25 X 15 sunroom that is the 'dog room' though I usually have the doors open to the living room making an even larger play space unless I need to keep some dogs seperated (unfixed males /females or just personalities that don't get along). The sunroom is dog friendly with tile and windows on 3 sides for lots of squirrel watching! And working from home I take them out every couple hours to go out and play in the yard and go potty. When I'm not working we are between the dog room, the spacious and shady fenced (chain link) yard, and my living room to chill and decompress (dog beds around the room and oversized ottoman is dog friendly as well as smaller bebes can cuddle with me on the chair or couch provided my cat isn't deciding to be social and want some cuddles).

Information Eve L. would like to know about your pet
First priority is to see if they are UTD on their shots and flea&heartworm prevention gotta make sure everyone is safe and now GDA compliance required. From there things like if they are house trained (fine if they aren't just a heads up is helpful to be prepared), fixed (will take unfixed but just have to coordinate to make sure no unfixed boys and girls at same time or if so everyone is aware and plan to have them seperated), good with other dogs and cats (mostly if they have an active prey drive to chase/attack cats) if they are on any restrictions/needs/medications and their energy level/play type do they want to play or just cuddle or a mix of both, and most importantly are they UTD on their shots and flea&heartworm prevention gotta make sure everyone is safe! If they are fixed or not I accept both and aim to be transparent but females in heat are only if discussed before hand as they can make all the boys act abnormal.
A typical day
I start my mornings between 7-8am depending on the morning and we go outside for a bit at first to get potty time done and some first morning energy out. Then we go inside for breakfast while I get myself ready before going out again. From there depending on what the day holds we go out generally every 2 hours or as needed for a break in the fenced in large back yard with lots of shade and between sunroom and living room to hang and play through the day. I kennel at night (for everyone's safety), for meals (to prevent anyone from getting territorial around food), and if on the short and limited times I leave the house (groceries, Dr appt etc). I also do kennel or put in the yard for pick up and drop offs to make it easier for the process. At night we are usually settling down and getting ready for bed time around 9-9:30ish.

Pet care experience
***SAD Update 12/30/25*** My senior girl, my Samaria, had been dealing with some health issues for a while ( carcinoma on the bladder liner and arthritis) and also had developed a spot on her spine that was causing mobility issues and pain her her back end. Sadly none of the meds were doing anything to help after a time and given her age we had to weigh out quality of life with any procedures and recovery. Thankfully I got one last Christmas with my girl she held on and had a good day but then let me know she was ready so we said goodbye. I no longer have any pets of my own at this time but love having all the other babies around. ***HOLIDAY UPDATE*** I will be keeping pups for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday, however, I will not be arranging any drop-off or pick-ups on Thanksgiving or Christmas day itself and my hours remain as usual day before and after 8am-9pm. As of 2/1/24 I officially have my GDA Kennel License which you are supposed to have when watching dogs on your home so I'm a bit late but happy to be in compliance and legal now. That said at the drop off per GDA guidelines I will have to collect a couple of items (first/last name, address, contact number, vet of record and date of vaccinations) I need for each owner to stay in compliance. I just want to be transparent with everyone from the start as I make the slight change to comply. I am happy to take unfixed males or females however it is just based on preference by owner I keep them seperated but some choose not to take the chance and I try to be as upfront as possible. Though none in active heat please unless previously discussed as it does make the boys fixed and not fixed act crazy so if I have a bunch of boys scheduled might not be the best fit. Hi there, I've always had dogs growing up and just love having them around. I worked with a local rescue as a foster and failed with my girl but have started petsitting back at the start of 2021 when I moved to working from home and had more time and flexibility. I am a fur mom to my 12 year old GSD mix, Samaria who was my foster fail and is a big love bug.
Reviews

Eve took amazing care of my dog, Oaky . He had an absolute blast & she sent pics of him at the end of the day. She has a good, friendly home set up for the dogs with a nice backyard. I highly recommend & will book again.

Eve was wonderful! Would definitely book with her again soon

Eve was great. Pups didn’t want to leave.

Eve is exceptionally good with dogs and very accommodating. I will continue to use her services
