I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have always loved spending time with them. I had a rescue cat who was part of my family for 17 years, so I know how special the bond with a pet can be. I also grew up around dogs, including my grandma’s Cocker Spaniel, who was with her for 16 years. Alongside my work, I also volunteered at a dog grooming salon for 3 months, fitting it around my work schedule. This gave me valuable hands-on experience with different dogs, their personalities and their individual needs. Many of my friends have dogs and cats, and I’m always happy to spend time with them whenever I can. I’m caring, patient and responsible, and genuinely enjoy making sure pets feel comfortable, happy and well looked after. I’d love the opportunity to look after your pet and give them plenty of attention, affection, playtime and companionship while you’re away.

Schedule
I work from home on Fridays, which gives me plenty of time to spend with your pet at the end of the week and throughout the weekend. I’m lucky to live close to lots of parks and green spaces, so I love getting out for walks and enjoying some fresh air. Whether your pet enjoys exploring outdoors or prefers relaxing and cuddling up at home, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and personality. Your pet will have plenty of company, attention and affection, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for while they’re with me.

Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a safe, quiet area and have a calm, secure home environment where pets can feel relaxed and at ease. I don’t have any children or other pets, so your pet will have my full attention and won’t need to share their space with other animals. I’m an animal lover and understand how important it is to provide a caring, patient and trustworthy environment, especially when a pet is staying away from their usual home. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, routines and any specific needs your pet may have. I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing that your pet is in a safe, loving and well-cared-for home while you’re away.
A typical day
I’m a really active person, so I love incorporating plenty of walks and outdoor time into my day. A typical day with your pet would include a good walk at one of the nearby parks, giving them plenty of time to explore, sniff and enjoy some fresh air. During the day, I’d make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime and company, while also allowing them to relax and nap when they need to. I’m happy to adapt the routine to suit their individual needs and energy levels. In the evening, I like to wind down at home and spend some quality time with my pet. Whether that’s relaxing together on the sofa, having some cuddles or simply keeping them company, I’d make sure they feel settled, comfortable and part of the family. Overall, I’d aim for a good balance of exercise, play, relaxation and lots of affection throughout the day.

This includes their feeding schedule, exercise requirements, sleeping arrangements, likes and dislikes, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and settled. It’s also important for me to know about any behavioural traits, anxieties, triggers or things they may be nervous around, so I can make sure they feel safe and relaxed while they’re with me. I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible and will always appreciate any information or instructions you can provide before their stay.
