My preference is primarily cats primarily from job experience and for dogs I've grown up around medium to larger dogs and find I get along fantastic with a bigger friendly guy
A typical day
My routine is usually feeding and water first thing, I always try to give them a fresh bowl of water. Then once they're finished snacking take them out for their walk and while I'm out for a nice play session/general exercise until they're all ready to come back. And repeat for as often as is scheduled for them. For cats my first thing is to double check their litter box and feed them as well as fresh water, if they have a fountain I clean and refill that. Then it's playtime and babysitting till their next meal or nap.

Evander has two cats he’s been taking care of since they were kittens. Noemi’s was a bottle feed kitten that he has taken cared of for years. He cares a lot about the health and well being of his cats. Even has cameras in his apartment to make sure he can watch them at all times. The cats are well feed and their apartment is always clean.
I know it sounds like glazing but Evander is truly one of the BEST pet sitters and people I know. He has absolute gone above and beyond to help me and my three dog kids time and time again from walking, feeding, to purely just spending time with them. My dogs absolutely love Evander, and the endless energy he has for them. He’s willing to play fetch for hours with one of my dogs who doesn’t understand what the word “exhaustion” is, has taken my other two on looooong walks as they don’t know what the concept of “stopping” is, and is absolutely perfect and managing the needs of each furry kid we have. Absolutely fantastic at what he does. As a person? He’s phenomenal. So much energy, care, and love can only fit in a person and he is simply over flowing with it. Probably one of the best people I’ve ever gotten the privilege to meet and know <3
Evander takes really great care of my pets. He always looks into special schedules that they follow and are extremely friendly with them. My dog Finn has trouble eating in his own and has a special habit of being hand fed or we have to sit with him on the floor to do so. He was extremely understandable and was extremely good at asking detailed questions about diet, care, special behavior that may seem alarming that should or should not be concerned about. He is an extremely friendly person as well and is really good at giving updates and communication! Highly recommended!!
