• Graduated from Brock University in June 2021, received a Bachelor of Science with specialization in behavioral neuroscience. • My dog Otto is a 5-year old Australian cattle dog/Beagle mix rescued and adopted from a shelter in Cayuga • He is a huge part of my life and has given me the opportunity to apply what I have learned in my studies at Brock to the real world • My goal is to gain more experience handling and caring for dogs of a variety of sizes/ages/breeds • I was always around animals growing up and now see Rover as a way to share my expertise and compassion in the field of animal care • Most importantly, I'll make sure you feel confident and relaxed that I am caring for your best friend. I joined Rover because it's the perfect way to combine my love of animal psychology and spending time in the outdoors

I cannot currently accommodate animals on my property as it is not fenced in. However, I'm more than happy to exercise and play with your pets in your yard, or one of your approved parks/walking trails with my own transportation available.

Evan’s super friendly, flexible and punctual.
Evan has been a wonderful friend to our family and our animals for many years. He quickly built a strong relationship with our two cats and our Bernese mountain dog. He is always welcome in our home as he treats our animals with a tremendous amount of love and care. Our large dog can often be overwhelming because of his high energy levels but Evan has been unphased by this and quickly commanded respect from our massive puppy. This insured our trust in his ability to care for and watch our furry family members.
Having Evan pet sit for my family was a great and stress free experience. The first time he came to meet our dogs he came well prepared and the meet went smoothly. Leaving our dogs in the care of Evan was an easy choice. He was always prepared for the challenges our dogs can present in anytime of the day. It's not always easy to handle our dogs, especially when they're full of energy, but Evan handled the task with enthusiasm and they loved being around him. The dogs always tired before he did when playing or throwing the ball. He is always professional when it comes to watching the home when you are away, not just your animals.
Evan is a responsible and trustworthy person I can count on when it comes to taking care of our pets if we are away from home. Evan has enthusiastically accepted the role of pet sitter for us on multiple occasions. Finding a pet sitter can be difficult for our household because of our large family of pets. Evan has taken our dogs for walks, which is no easy task being that they are both high energy. Most people can be overwhelmed by their excitement but Evan shares in their excitement and plays with them and gives them the attention they love and need. He has also fed, cleaned litter boxes and spent time with our four cats, and checked in on and fed our rabbits and chickens. Not to mention making sure our home is secure while we are away.

Schedule
I'm currently working fewer hours so I have an open schedule to care for and exercise your pets. I'm quite flexible and can also accommodate unconventional hours, such as early morning or late at night.
