I have had dogs, various other pets, and have rescued quite a few wild animals throughout my life. My large immediate family always counts on me to watch their animals when they go on vacation. My son recently bought a house with a nice yard and he took his dog with him. As you can see from the photos, that dog and I spent a lot of time together. I still make his food from scratch and take him for hikes as often as I can.

I needed a dog sitter who had been experienced dealing with dogs with anxiety. I had never left my Babygirl with anyone she didn’t know. Evan was amazing, Babygirl loved him right off the bat. Evan took pictures and communicated with me daily while I was gone. I could not have asked for a better experience for my girl. Will definitely have him care for her again.
Evan was fabulous with my dog and cat. He was flexible and accommodating which I very much appreciated. Both my animals are anxious so I was so worried about leaving them. Soon as I left he sent me photos of them snuggling and relaxing and my stress went away! He is so kind and sweet and I will definitely be calling him again if I need!
Evan was great with Bella! He sent multiple updates and photos of our furbabe and even sent her home with some balls of her own! With Bella being so high energy it was a perfect fit that Evan was able to take her on walks and let her run around. He gave her so much attention, love and care all in the short time he had her. 10/10 I definitely recommend having Evan watch your pets ?
Evan was amazing through every step of this process. During the initial meet and greet about a week or so before, I knew there would be no issues leaving Casey in his care! He provided updates while we were gone and it was nice to know Casey was so well cared for and attended to, I was nervous he wouldn’t want to come back home with us after!
Evan gave so much attention to the details of our 10 month old puppies care routine and getting to know her before taking her for the whole Thanks giving weekend that Pepper was a confident, relaxed and happy girl when we picked her up! Evan keeps in touch, sends pics (which made me wonder if she would want to come home) :0) ......... I may have missed my pup while away, but never worried or felt concern that she was being cared for "just like family."
I've known even for 15+ years, he is a kind, caring, compassionate human being who loves all animals, especially dogs. He gets along well with all dogs, he's very patient and gentle spoken. He loves taking my son's dog for hikes, walks and also loves just hanging out with him. Evan would be good to your dog and trea him/or her like they were his own. How's grown up with dogs his whole life as well as as many others pets too including birds. You would be lucky to have him care for your pet. ♥️

Schedule
I make my own hours and now that I do not have a dog around pushing me to walk the town, several times a day, I feel this is a good fit to keep me active.

I have a lot of experience with a 90lb nervous pitty, and have a number of safe and private locations in mind for walks. I also have a large crate and access to a large yard if needed. I genuinely care for Animals and will put in the effort it takes to ensure each unique personality has a great experience.
A typical day
Like every dog I've ever known, I love to explore. I'm very familiar with most towns in Eastern Ct and I frequent trails on All Trails throughout the Green Valley. If your dog and I aren't throwing a ball at a local park, we will be searching for new things to see and smell.
