Evan was awesome! From the initial conversation, to the drop-off and pick-up... Evan was extremely responsive. We dropped our two pups off with Evan and went on a 5-day trip. Beforehand, Evan asked us several questions to make sure that he had answers that would help him make our pups feel more comfortable during their stay with him. We loved the daily pictures he would send us while we were away and the dogs loved the daily strolls through his neighborhood. We look forward to working with Evan again when the opportunity arises.

Growing up, Evan was very caring for our family cat we had for 20 years. Not only did he enjoy her company, but he saw how well she was taken care as a young kitten all the way through to the required special needs as an elderly cat. Over the years, Evan also learned experiences with taking care of other friends/neighbor’s cats, on how to handle the day-to-day responsibilities like feeding, cleaning the litter box, keeping their environment tidy, and paying attention to their behavior and health. He was also attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in their well-being. It was clear that he understood that pet care is a daily commitment, not just something you do when it’s convenient. Evan has also spent time caring for dogs belonging to neighbors/friends. He’s comfortable with different sizes and temperaments, from high-energy dogs that need long walks and playtime to more laid-back dogs that just want steady companionship. He’s reliable about feeding schedules, exercise, and making sure pets feel secure, loved, and comfortable when their owners are away. What stands out most about Evan is his calm, steady presence. Animals respond well to him because he’s patient and consistent. He takes pet care seriously and treats every animal as if it were his own. As a person, Evan has always excelled at whatever goal, assignment, or mission put before him. Schedule
Caring for pets fits naturally into my daily schedule. I’m home to supervise and respond to each pet’s needs, offering attention, companionship, and a secure environment throughout the day. I make sure their space is welcoming and monitored for comfort and safety, and I’m available for updates or check-ins with owners as needed.

In my home, pets are welcomed as if they’re my own. Each pet has cozy spots to curl up, quiet corners to relax, and plenty of attention and affection. I spend time observing their moods and adjusting their environment so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. My goal is to create a nurturing, stress-free stay where pets feel loved and cared for, and owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
A typical day
For dogs, I love getting them outside for walks around East Austin and nearby parks like Govalle Park, Zilker, and Mueller Lake Park. Depending on the dog’s energy level, we’ll play fetch, enjoy relaxed strolls, or get in some playful exercise. For cats, I provide interactive play sessions tailored to their personality, whether that’s wand toys, laser play, puzzle toys, or quiet relax time. I always adjust activities based on each pet’s comfort level so they feel engaged, happy, and at ease during their stay.
