I have always had a connection with animals. I wasn't able to get my first pet until I was 10 and it was a guinea pig...fast forward 22 years and that connection and passion for animals has not changed. I worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years including school, most of which was in Maine. I no longer work as a technician but still love to fill my time with taking care of people's pets.

When I care for your pet I will be able to spend as much time playing, walking, relaxing. Whatever you and they may want or need. I am able to give medication including insulin and fluids.

Evan did such a great job watching our dogs today! This was our first time having him stay with them in our home and he made the whole day so much less stressful for us. He kept us updated with messages and pictures throughout the day, made sure everyone went outside and was comfortable. You can tell he genuinely enjoys animals and cared about making sure they were happy and relaxed. He was also really respectful of our home and even offered to help with chores before leaving which was so thoughtful. We came home to happy pups and would absolutely have Evan watch them again!
Our boy Flynn loved Evan. Evan was wonderful with him, even his quirks. Being Flynn is an older dog, he requires a bit of attention. Evan gave that to him. He was in constant contact with us, sending updates and pictures. Looking at the pictures, Flynn was very happy and content. Flynn has been searching around the house looking for Evan every day! We will definitely look to use Evan in the future.
1st time using Evan but our Bailey seemed to have a great with him. Loved the photos he sent & liked that he asked questions if he wasn’t sure about something.
Evan has a real knack with animals. He maintains discipline but also plays and dishes out treats. He uses his vet tech background to make informed decisions if an animal seems “off” in any way. He has experience with both small and large pet and handles either well. I would not hesitate to trust a pet in Evan’s hands.
Evan has sat for our mini-bernedoodle many times, from occasional walks to overnight visits. What sets Evan apart from other sitters is that he truly cares about the health and wellbeing of pets and how that impacts their owners. Evan’s prior work with veterinarians and shelters makes us feel safer having his extra knowledge and ability along to support our fluffy boy Bixby. Not only does he care for Bixby like his own, but he is also conscientious about being in our home and providing his services. We highly recommend Evan.
Evan has been an animal lover his whole life. He has been trusted by neighbors to care for their elderly dogs when no one outside the family would be. His education has enhanced his value as a caregiver, though it will never surpass his ability to develop a one-on-one relationship with an animal. He is respectful of the parent/family and their wishes for the care of their pet.

Schedule
I currently have a pretty open schedule. The only reason I would not be able to do certain days would be due to medical appointments or family obligations.
