I am a huge animal lover who has experience with animals from dogs and cats, to snakes, spiders, rodents, and livestock. I have lived on farms and in suburbs, so I am capable of adapting to your needs and providing excellent care of your pets at all times. I have raised puppies and kittens and baby rodents as well, so the youngest creatures are safe in my care. I have multiple verbal references available if requested. First-Class Care for Casper & Lilly! We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care Evan provided for our two dogs, Casper and Lilly, while we were away on a 10-day family vacation. From the very beginning, Evan took the time to truly get to know our pups—their personalities, routines, and individual needs. It was clear she genuinely cared for them as if they were her own. Evan sent us twice-daily updates, complete with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her communication was thoughtful and consistent, and we loved seeing how happy and relaxed our dogs were in her care. Not only did she provide exceptional care for Casper and Lilly, but she also respected and looked after our home with the utmost professionalism. I was extremely pleased with how well Evan took care of my two pugs (one is a very demanding senior pug!). I have to admit, I was a bit worried as I had a bad experience with a Rover sitter in Illinois and wondered if it would happen again. Not with Evan!! She was great- she kept me up to date on everything, sent lots of pictures, and really showered my dogs with love and attention. And before I returned she even washed all the linens and dishes that she used. She exceeded my expectations x10. I will definitely ask her to watch them again when I am out of town!
Evan is incredible with our animals- aka: kids. She communicates with pictures and I feel secure leaving her with our kids.
Evan was fantastic with our 4 high maintenance "children". This was our first time using her and we did just a short 2 night trial before doing our longer trip Later this month. She communicated throughout the stay, sent pictures and left our house in great condition. We will definitely secure her for our future dates and many more!
Evan always impresses me with her willingness to please. My boys love her !! This time we were 2,000 miles away when hurricane Helene popped up and was here within 2 days. She didn't skip a beat, she was totally calm and prepared for whatever the storm threw her way . She made sure our babies were safe and comforted. She takes care of our 2 dudes as good as we do ourselves and follows any new instructions we may throw her way. 5 star all the way !! You will be happy to have Evan watch your babies for sure ! ♥

Schedule
I'm currently working from home, attending school online, and have one teenage child who tends to herself, so I have plenty of time to attend to your pets in a day. I can adapt to various schedules as a previous shift worker so that your pet is cared for on YOUR schedule, and mine fills in the gaps.

Safety, trust & environment
I have one dog and one cat of my own at the moment, and both are very good with other animals, so if your dog is staying in my home they do not have to be crated or contained in a room unless they are known to be aggressive or destructive. Please note: I cannot have dogs over 30 pounds for boarding, but I do offer house-sitting services for dogs of all sizes. I DO have a fenced yard, but it is cement throughout and not a place to potty. If your pet needs to potty they will be walked either behind the yard (for aggressive dogs) or within our gated community. Cats have access to an entirely separate room with their own litter box. In your own home, I can provide any walking in the neighborhood, take dogs into the yard, hang out and play with your pets. I can provide walks up to 30 minutes; longer walks are not currently available. Camera monitoring is fully acceptable in your home outside of private areas (such as the bedroom I am using and the bathroom).

A typical day
BOARDING IN MY HOME: Your pets are welcome to enjoy quiet time, play fetch down our hallway or in our small community dog park, go on walks in our gated community, and I can work on some basic obedience training and potty training. My dog is very friendly and would love to play with yours if comfortable, but she can be separated as well. Feedings offered twice per day or on your schedule if more are needed. A typical day will be walk/go outside, training if requested, a morning meal, play with human/other pets, rest, outside again weather permitting, an evening meal, then walk or outside before bed. Any modifications to this basic schedule as outlined must be clarified prior. HOUSESITTING IN YOUR HOME: Your schedule reigns supreme here! I will adapt to whatever routine you ask, feedings on your pet's preset times, walks, playtime, etc. I do not leave for more than 6 hours at a time, and no more than twice per week typically. I guarantee my presence for house-sitting between 8pm and 8am.
