My family always had pets as I was growing up. Neighbors and friends have always asked me to pet sit, and still continue to do so. Now a neighbor’s indoor/outdoor cat comes to visit, and she is just so awesome!

I am writing on behalf of Eva Shelly, my pet sitter. Eva was my pet sitter for my 2 Tonkinese kitties, Maurice and Elvis. She stayed in my home and took care of all of their needs for 2 months while I worked abroad. Not only did she take care of their daily feeding, grooming, litter boxes she communicated with me daily via text and email with photos and notes about their health. My kitties are “walked” daily with a leash in our garden. Eva was able to do that and keep them safe. Eva truly loves animals. Eva is trustworthy and a great friend to animals. Often we would FaceTime so I could see my kitties and when I called they would be cuddled up on the sofa. Most sincerely Patti Dougherty

Schedule
I’m 46 years old, currently don’t have any pets of my own. My dog passed away in the summer of 2024. Currently I’m happy just minding other pets until I decide to get another pet of my own when the right pet and time comes along.

I prefer one pet at a time. If it’s a dog, I’m happy taking the dog to the wissahicken for a hike or somewhere else awesome like that, I don’t do dog parks unless the owner approves, I found my dog getting aggressive at dog parks so we just avoided them, and enjoyed other ways to get excesses and nature.
A typical day
We can go for walks around the neighborhood. I’d prefer not to go to dog parks. I can also take your pup to the wissahicken to hike on some trails!
