I've housesat overnight for friends away on monthlong trips and family away for multiple weeks caring for their dogs, cats, fish and other pets lovingly since my 20s. For special medical needs of elderly animals, I have experience administering medications and extra fluids. I am a pet-owner of a guinea pig currently and have helped a dog-owning brother with dog walks as a new father. I talk to pets in a calm and endearing way and amplify my appreciation for them as loveable beings while respecting their needs in home life and outdoor recreation (if allowed outdoors). I check in and communicate as any issues arise. A neighbor's dog was recently in the care of the wrong person while away on a trip and I helped to identify the issue with close by neighbors/caregivers and helped advocate for a transition in care. I have genuine concern for pets whose owners are away and compassion for the stress they undergo.

I will provide care for pets in their homes and yards/around the neighborhood, especially during after school hours when my 10yo daughter is with me. She has always wanted a dog of her own and loves cats. This is great practice for when we can have one. We have a great rapport with pets when allowed to give treats for good behavior, doing tricks, and after running around time. I love going on walks and having the companionship of a dog, would enjoy attending to and assisting with pets' meal prep/schedules and playtime, especially when fresh air and sun is concerned! Playtime in designated areas is essential for pet attention when alone for a long part of the day. Respect for the home and building trust with the animal is key.

Eva was great! This was my first time using Rover, and she immediately put me at ease. She came by for a meet-and-greet, was very thoughtful and thorough, and took notes on all the specifics. She arrived and departed exactly as expected and sent plenty of great photos and updates. I’ll definitely use Rover again and will absolutely be a repeat customer with Eva!
Eva has been a very loving and caring house and pet sitter and just a genuine good person. I have known her since she was a young child and can certainly vouch for her character. She is extremely responsible and trustworthy and very sweet with animals. My little dog loved her. I would highly recommend her for any type of housesitting and pet care. You pet would be in very warm and loving hands.
I have known Eva since she was a child and have seen her interact both with her pets and with mine. She has done housesitting and Pet sitting for me and my animals when I was away for a few weeks. She is absolutely responsible and caring. I would be very happy to have her take care of my animals if she stilllived in my area.
Eva is attentive to detail and caring for pet animals and children. Several times she did house sitting for us and took care of our cats while we were away on vacations. We have also observed her kind and attentive caring for the family guinea pig and her brother's dog. She is good at providing for the pets' needs and preferences: proper variety of nutrition, water, bedding, sun protection, etc.
Eva is very responsible, compassionate, honest and loving person. She is both playful and gentle, so animals take to her. She has cared for our cats when we were on vacation and they were comfortable with her caregiving.

Schedule
I had a recent change in employment status and while applying for jobs most days I have some extra time to help out, especially in afternoons before the dinner hour. My two children need after school pick-ups and activities are minimal until early evening time. Weekends have more flexibility and tend to be when people go away. Fridays are not preferred but may have flexibility depending on the part of the month.
