Hi! I’m Eva, I'm a professional dog trainer and owner of Crockett K9 Services here in Fergus Falls. Boarding happens in my home environment, and each dog's day is scheduled around their individual needs for exercise, rest, meals, and routine. I take dogs of any breed, size, age, or behavioral concern, and I have experience administering medication and caring for dogs with health concerns. I pay close attention to detail, so feeding instructions, meds, and house rules are followed exactly. You'll get regular photo updates so you always know how your dog is doing!

I highly recommend Eva when you need someone to take care of your animals. She is incredibly responsible, attentive, and truly loves every animal she cares for. I always feel at ease knowing my pets are with her.
First I will say I have known Eva for 5 or 6 years. In that time I have seen her work with so many pet owners and their pets to help with training. She loves the animals and they absolutely love her!!! She has been given the gift to work with animals and she is a natural. Ronan, my sweet 7 month old puppy, is being trained by Eva now. We are working to train him for both service and therapy dog training. She is working a bored and train camp for him right now. Her training knowledge is incredible. My mother was diagnosed with cancer the end of February, and I have traveled to Tucson several times to take care of her. I have been fortunate to have Eva keep him for me while I’m gone. She is truly a wonderful, trustworthy and committed to make sure Ronan is safe and loved in her care. It makes my situation easier knowing that Ronan is in good hands. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Eva is with dogs. She’s worked with my dogs before and just hung out with them, and it’s like an automatic connection between her and the dog. She will take anything your dog may need into account, whether it just be a walk, or a whole training lesson, she’s got the whole package. She can make a simple day turn into a trip to Disneyland, fun and adventure (even if it’s just in the backyard)! Her connection and hardworking with any dog is beyond what I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking for a good trainer, Eva is outstanding! She has great energy to match with your dog and a great personality. There’s never any rush and she takes her time with the dog to make sure any wrong steps are fixed. She’s got great experience and will do anything it takes to make your dog happy!

Schedule
I'm home all day, so your pet is never left alone for long stretches. My days run on a routine built around the animals: training sessions, play time, exercise, meals, and scheduled downtime. Your dog or cat's day gets structured around their needs, not squeezed into mine!

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs sleep in kennels at night and get scheduled kennel downtime during the day! If your dog does not go good in a kennel, please let me know and we can arrange care to your pet’s needs. I do day trips to parks on request, plus regular walks. There are plenty of toys and enrichment for both dogs and cats during their stay. If your pet does better solo, I can keep animals separated.
Pets
A typical day
Morning potty break and breakfast, then play time or a walk to burn off energy. Midday is training or enrichment, followed by scheduled downtime in the kennel to rest. Afternoon brings more play, another walk, and dinner. Evenings wind down with a last potty break, then kennel/pen for the night. High energy dogs get more exercise, older dogs get more rest. Every day flexes around the animal in front of me!

- Before booking, tell me: Does your pet take medication, and what is the exact routine? How do they get along with other dogs and with cats? Any behavioral quirks, fears, or triggers I should know about? Feeding schedule and food sensitivities? The more I know upfront, the better I can set up their stay. And if your pet needs their own space away from other animals, or special accommodations, I can absolutely arrange that.
