I work part time remotely, and will be able to pay attention to your pet's needs very easily. I'm a morning person, so if your dog thrives on a daily routine of scheduled walks and feedings, I can make that work seamlessly (and if you have a go with the flow kinda pup, that works as well!)

MY HOME: I have had to relocate to Raleigh, NC following the devastation of Helene. I am unable to provide boarding services at this time. CLIENTS HOME: I will follow all instructions and preferences of the client, and do love a written list. I would prefer a meet and greet for nightly house sitting

Please let me know if your animal has special needs, behavioral concerns, or triggers (men, people wearing hats, children, etc.). This way I can modify our walks & where we go. Additionally, your creatures 'code,' or basically what they most likely need when they do '___ thing' or 'make ____ noise' because owners know best!
A typical day
If your dog does well with other dogs, and has high energy, I'd love to take them to a dog park of your choosing in addition to however many times I walk them during the day. After an exhausting activity I love an enrichment toy / activity for them to chew on (stuffed kong toy, greenies dental sticks, etc) and then after they have simmered down, cuddles on the couch while we watch tv.

Pet care experience
I am skilled at adapting to whatever your pet's needs and routines are, rather than having them adapt to my routine. I was always accompanying my mother on her pet watching jobs as a kid, and I loved bringing comfort to a clearly anxious animal. That transitioned to fostering groups of street kittens in my college dorms, to volunteering for any puppy adoption event I heard of, and becoming the go to neighbor and friend to petsit. Because of this I have experience with reptiles, birds (grew up with them!), and any 4 or 3 legged mammals. I have cared for geriatric cats and dogs, and puppies/kittens, I tickcheck after each walk, and I don't mind sharing the bed with your furbaby <3

Eva is a great pet sitter! She is consistent in her communication and lets you know if an issue or concern arises. This is our third time using her, and we plan to use her as a sitter in the future!

Eva went above and beyond while watching Josie (10 days over the holidays!!) Our dog is a rescue who is a little anxious and particular, and Eva took such great care of her while we were gone. I would absolutely recommend booking with Eva, she is a wonderful person and a wonderful sitter. She left our place better than she found it and provided such great peace of mind!!
Eva is great! She consistently communicates and send photos to us while we are away and follows through on requests when we ask. I highly recommend!
