Hi! I’m Eva, a work-from-home dog mom in Short Pump who believes great pet care is about much more than feeding schedules and walks. It’s about making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for my own dogs, rescues, and shelter animals, but my dog Baloo taught me one of the most important things: every dog is different. He was very anxious, and learning to earn his trust taught me to slow down, read his signals, and understand when he needed comfort, space, or simply time. I bring that same patience and attention to every dog I care for. Because I work from home, pets in my care get something I think makes a huge difference: presence. They’re not spending most of the day alone waiting for their next check-in. I’m around to talk to them, play, go for walks, give affection, and notice the little things that tell me how they’re doing. I also know every household has its own rhythm. If your dog eats at 6:30, gets a particular bedtime treat, needs a slow introduction, has a favorite walking route, or absolutely insists on sleeping under a certain blanket, tell me. I’ll follow the routine that makes them feel at home. You can expect thoughtful updates, plenty of photos, walk tracking, fresh water, feeding, enrichment, playtime, and lots of companionship without having to wonder how things are going. Most importantly, I want you to be able to leave without worrying. Your pet gets a calm, loving home-away-from-home experience, and you get the peace of mind of knowing someone is truly paying attention.
