A typical day
I am very active outdoors and love to walk, run, hike. Playing with pets is one of my joys in life. Combining these things together in in taking care of your pet will be my pleasure.

I have been involved with Trusted House Sitters for a while now and it was recommended by one of the clients there to also register with Rover. I grew up on a farm in Manitoba and love all kinds of animals. I currently have two budgies as pets but have had and cats and dogs in the past. Since my wives has allergies we can have animals other than birds so I want to scratch the itch to being around more furry friends I am a runner and love the outdoors so taking pets out for walks and other excursions is something I love to do. Being a professional I understand the need to be courteous, confidential, and respectful to people 's property and reputation when it comes to their home and neighbours. I am a chiropractor who has been practicing for 28 years and recently relocated located to Victoria, British Columbia from Calgary, Alberta. I'm currently conducting locums (holiday practice relief) across British Columbia. I am looking for places to stay and pets to befriend while I conduct locums and/or visit family or even when I am home in Victoria.

Eugene was great with my furies. He cared for them, played with them and gave them their treats that they enjoy. He also sent pics of them ever few days. He left the house in great order and even fixed the facing for my bathroom heater. He made my adventure worry free.
Eugene is by far the best pet sitter we’ve ever had for our senior cat, Duke. Duke is high-maintenance due to his heart condition and daily medications, and Eugene went above and beyond to make both Duke and us feel completely comfortable while we were away. He took exceptional care of Duke, kept us updated, and treated our home with so much respect — we came back to a spotless house and a very happy, relaxed cat. Knowing Duke was in such capable and caring hands gave us real peace of mind. Because of Eugene, we were finally able to visit family members we hadn’t seen in over a year without worrying about Duke’s care. We are incredibly grateful for Eugene’s kindness, professionalism, and dedication, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.
Eugene did an incredible job looking after our cats! I think they were happier and healthier after we got home than they were before we left :)
