We had a relatively good experience with Eugene. Cenk seemed to have a nice time, he meet and greet went well and he is a very nice gentleman in a very nice spacious area that pups of all ages would love. Admittedly, a few factors on my end did fall through and made things a bit more difficult for some aspects of my pup’s stay. I will say that pick-up and drop-off did seem very constrained, and it is fairly easy to tell when sitters are focused on the money-gaining aspect of things, which is totally okay as this is a paid job. Another facet I’d add is that communication seemed very limited. I previously saw through a review that constantly asking about the stay felt overbearing to the host, so I was not as proactive as I usually am when it came to asking for updates or photos. I am not one to hound or worry about the stay, especially as I am busy as well; however I do worry as anybody would when leaving their beloved animal with someone they are relatively unfamiliar with. I did mention more than once that I love updates and will never be bothered by even the smallest updates, however I believe I received around 3 updates for what was around a 3 day stay; I did have to ask for these updates as well as photos/videos that were provided one time, rather than them automatically being provided. This is all just to really say if you are someone who very consistently and thoroughly loves updates, this may not be the choice for you. None of this is to take down or demean this business, I am eternally grateful that my baby was taken care of while I was away. I do think there are measures, no matter how small, that can be taken to put a pet parent’s mind at ease. :)

Eugene went above and beyond for our senior pup. He was beyond professional and accommodating and I have no hesitation with using him in the future.

Our dog was okay at pick up, which is the most important thing. I told him how nervous we were about our puppy being watched for the first time, yet I didn’t receive any pics or videos for the first day of a 2-day visit, and that was after requesting them. In addition, her two blankets did not get returned to us. At first we were told they must be in her crate because he didn’t use them. That’s confusing because she should have been in her crate (overnight at least). Then Eugene added that they don’t use blankets anymore because they kept having to wash them. I feel like that’s something that should be on his post because there are many dogs that need blankets to sleep, and when I told him I was sending blankets, nothing was ever said about this rule.

Eugene went over and above in caring for our 16 years old, hard of hearing and anxious Maggie. He was wonderful. His frequent emails and videos allowed us to rest assured of her having the very best of care while we were on vacation. We are repeat customers.
