Hi, Im Etna. As a lifelong animal lover and outdoor enthusiast, I enjoy spending time with dogs of all ages—whether it's seniors, puppies, or everything in between. I also have experience working with dogs that have anxiety or reactive behaviors, as well as helping with basic puppy training and common behavior issues like leash pulling or excessive barking.

Your dog’s or Cat safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that dogs with anxiety or reactive behaviors need extra patience and care. I use positive reinforcement techniques to help them feel confident and at ease. I also take special care to respect your dog's boundaries and create a calm, safe environment while you're away. I prefer a quiet, peaceful atmosphere (no loud music) and will ensure your home stays secure and organized. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible, whether we're out for a walk or relaxing at home.

Etna took great care of our miniature poodle Hazel while my wife and I were away for a long weekend. We loved the photos and informative updates. Etna also took great care of the house while we were gone—she even washed the bedding she used, and she used a sprinkling of cinnamon (excellent trick she suggested) to keep ants from getting close to Hazel’s food! I highly recommend Etna for dog walking and for in-home stays—she’s very reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. (Or, put another way, and given her experience and dedication: She’s very professional, and my wife and I felt very comfortable leaving Hazel and our house in her care.)
Etna was wonderful with our 3 month old puppy Egg - as soon as she met Egg she knew exactly how to react and respond to Egg’s excitement. We learned a lot from her, but also came home to a relaxed, happy puppy. Couldn’t recommend her more, especially if you have a puppy!
Etna did a fantastic job looking after Gus and our home. When we came back it was clear he had been kept on schedule and cared for, and the pictures she provided showed that he was happy and doing well. The house was left very clean - I would recommend Etna to anyone!

Etna was amazing taking care of my dog Jazzy while I was away for the weekend. Jazzy is a quite nervous girl who has only been with me for a few months, but Etna did a fantastic job making her feel comfortable both in and out of the house. She even taught me some good techniques for keeping her calm on walks and when I leave the house. She also gave great updates and pics every day on how everything was going. She kept very good care of my apartment and left it even cleaner than when I left. I would highly recommend Etna to anyone for housesitting.

I offer flexible scheduling to fit your dog's or cats needs, whether it's daily walks, playtime at the park, or just some quiet time at home.

- For all new Clients during our meet-and-greet, I’d love to learn as much as possible about your dog. The more details you share, the better I can tailor my care to their specific needs. I’m particularly interested in learning about any behaviors, such as how they interact with other dogs or people, or if they have any special training needs. If your dog struggles with things like leash pulling or barking, I can help with basic training during our time together. I’d also appreciate knowing about their routine—whether they’re allowed on the furniture or if they have any specific preferences or fears. The more I know, the better I can make their time with me as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
