It's important to know things that might be "normal" for your companion but that someone new would perceive as abnormal. Another thing is generally I avoid interactions (both with other dogs & people) when performing pet care services for someone else - I think that goes without saying but it also means being very good with situational awareness and taking things somewhat seriously while outside.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs for a good walk - I have a good ability to find interesting walking routes which avoid the typically more populated & uninteresting areas....I have a good knack for finding trails. If I recognize your pup(s) have been trained I will always incorporate that in to the walk. Positive reinforcement is the only method I employ.

Pet care experience
I have extensive experience with animal care: whether you have one pet or five, I can assure your companions will receive my full attention & effort. I have experience with all breeds of dogs and have a specific interest in behavior & training. I've successfully cared for dogs where before meeting was told "oh, my pet doesn't like men" and had absolutely no problem. I have plenty of experience with cats as well. I can administer insulin injections & other medical needs - even with challenging cases. I have great patience which often is a difference maker. I also have experience with birds, small animals, fish, reptiles and even some farm animals. Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all - this is a quote that I live by.

This isn't the first time we've gone out of town and entrusted Ethan with our 4 cats, and it definitely won't be the last. We always return home to calm, we'll-fed, happy cats. And while we're gone, he's fantastic about providing visit updates and pictures of our cats getting lots of attention. 10/10 would recommend! :)
Always treats my lab as his own great exercise & happy dog!
Ethan was fantastic!!! If I could give six stars I would!! I was most impressed with his clear communication, and updates every time our boys were fed. I will be reaching out to him again if we ever need house sitting. However, the best part for me, is that I felt as if myself and dogs have known Ethan much longer than just through Rover - I highly recommend Ethan!!
