I would love to help!
I have been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old when we got our cat. Then I took care of my own pet mice, some finches and finally my dog. I love taking care of cats and dogs, and I am willing to learn more about other animals if necessary. I love animals and helping with taking care of them, truly is an amazing job/opportunity.

When I walk dogs I am hyper aware of surrounds. I never use my phone or even headphones because I want to make sure I can hear what is going on around me as well. When seeing other dogs I pay very close attention to all the movements and signals of both dogs and have no problems walking away if something feels off in any amount. I also have no problems avoiding all dogs all together for owners who feel uncomfortable with those interactions. For cats safety can look different since they spend most of their time indoors, I try to make sure all doors and windows are sealed in a way in which no escapes can occur if the owner prefers their cat(s) to be indoors. I also try my best to check for any mats, blemishes or any noticeable medical concerns and inform the owner for what they would like me to do if any of this occurs while they are away.
