I currently attend the St. Pete campus of the University of South Florida, and I volunteer twice a week at Boyd Hill. This means my availability is limited during the school semester but much more open during the summer.

Besides medical needs etc., I simply just need to know what to expect from your dog. How will they behave around me or others? Is there anything extra they need or something specific they need to avoid? Just having an honest overall expectation of behavior and needs will be super helpful!
A typical day
Indulge in lots of eat scratches and belly rubs first! Then we’ll play with the available toys to help drain any excess energy, with a good walk to top it all off by exploring and enjoying the fresh air!

Pet care experience
I have proficient experience caring for all types of animals and pets! I’ve volunteered at the PetPals animal shelter, where I worked with the sick dogs who needed some extra love and care. I also currently volunteer at the Boyd Hill Nature Preserve with their reptiles and birds of prey, so I am also familiar with difficult and temperamental animals. I have plenty of experience with cats and dogs, as I love to petsit for nearby friends!

Esther has watched our cats several times! I always feel so comfortable leaving town knowing they are in her care. She made sure we knew how they were doing while we were gone and when we got back our cats couldn’t care less. They were so happy and comfortable with Esther! She is a delight and will definitely hire her again!
I met Esther while volunteering at a local park Birds of Prey program. She amazes me with her knowledge of animals and nature. We had her care for our kitties and keep an eye on our home while we were traveling. She’s the type of person who does the right thing when no one is watching. We absolutely totally trust her!
