I'm an animal lover who grew up with pets and have had dogs and cats most of my adult life. I've also worked as a volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter where for nearly 20 years I walked the dogs, cared for the cats, and worked to help get the critters adopted. I now share my home with a large ginger tabby and a 60 lb. hound. In the past I've been owned by a variety of cats and dogs including a maine coon, a who-knows-what small brown cat, a German spitz, a terrier mix and a collie.

I'll treat your pets as though they were my own, taking care to provide them with a calm and safe environment in addition to the exercise and mental stimulation they need. I will adhere to their specific needs and routine, which can include administering oral medication, managing special dietary requirements, and providing companionship.

Esther took care of my cat with extraordinary love, sensitivity, empathy, care, warmth and attentiveness. Both the preparations beforehand and the communication during my absence ( photos, updates) were exceptional. It was very reassuring for me to know that Flocke - a cat with special needs due to her age- was in good hands. I would book Esther again and can highly recommend her.
Esther was so accommodating with walking my 10-month old puppy. She came to my apartment for a meet & greet before booking, and she kept me updated before and after the walk (while braving the cold rain). I would definitely book with her again!

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule and am available every day most weeks for drop-in visits, dog walks and/or cat care. Whenever possible, I like to meet the pet and pet parent (at no charge) before providing service to make sure it's a good fit.
