I have a patio home so my back yard is small so I prefer small to medium size dogs only. And yes I work from home, I am a groomer so yes my front area is set up to accept all types of dog and yes I will need kennel at times. Kennel are always ready if needed. I can groom up to three to four dogs from one client so same as in a grooming salon there are kennels same here because it is hard to groom a active dog with four jumping on me or trying to escape and I have extremely sharp scissors. So if kennels are completely not for you then we may not be a good fit because I do need kennel same as a grooming salon shop needs them. No they are not kept in there I have larger area where they can run around. However, I will place them there if needed. I need them here as well for the safety of your dog and for my self. I do accept dogs that extremely hyper, undisciplined, behavior issues, untrained dogs and even the sweet and lovable ones. I take curly one, straight hair, short hair or long hair, short or tall, Thin ones and fat ones. Funny ones and very serious ones. Potty trained or not, so yes kennels are always available for what ever comes my way. No discrimination here. I have to be prepared for all types, and yes I might have fur on the floor-I Am A Groomer and I WORk FROM HOME. I also offer pick up and drop off service and Yes cats will need a kennel and or pups in traveling to and from my home. Yes you will see fur on my shirt or pants or even on face and in my eyes and down my throat, I am a groomer. Yes it gets loud and yes, sometimes I am grooming with loud Grooming equipment so coming to door will take time. As always, I asked to give an ETA of drop off and pick up because I do go in and out for grooming. In most case I will not hear the doorbell so I ask for set drop off time. Since I work from home when I bathe a dog I can not leave the dog unattended or if I have a dog on the table, I need to secure the dog before attending to you. I will place the dog in a kennel at that time, once you leave I will take out and continue grooming the dog. Yes most of the dogs that I groom have anxiety or behavior issues I specialize with specific type that have been turned away from regular salons. So they do have potty accidents or are so stressed, they might vomit- so yes there are smells- that's part of being a groomer. Just because your dog is perfect, not all dog are prefect, I accept all dogs that might have little issues like anxiety or that they are so scared- no discrimination here. Please be kind to these dogs. I am and I do. I do accept older and disabled dog and I most case these dogs rarely get bathe due to being delicate or just old- so yes there might be extra special smell. Most will need to wear diapers . But here we do not discrimination with these dogs here. We need to be kind and give them the respect they deserve. We also offer grooming services preferably in Cypress area but can go outside area. It is unfair for the dog, for me to stop and allowing him or her to be soaking wet while I open door for you because you come at a different time then stated. Or for me to not go pick up my dog for grooming on time because I wait for you to come. I had someone come in unannounced and we where in a zoom meeting that we could not break away and gave me a bad review because they where inconsiderate of the situation and did not asked questions and just assumed. Or noticed fur on my floor but if you would have read my profile you would have known I am a groomer working at home and would have known I will have fur on floor. The same thing about me having fur on my cloth or on the floor, if I groom you will see fur or puppy poop. I am a groomer and work from my home I can accommodate families with multiple dog to get groomed in one session, I have many size kennel always ready to accommodate you. I am here at home so have a dog for boarding is not a problem I am here 24/7. I do wake up several times a night to care for your dog. So if your dogs does not get along with other dogs, we may not be a good fit , because I have dogs coming and going each day and late a night. If you dog is extremely perfect then we may not be a good fit because there will be fur on me, on couch and on the floor. I do groom from my home- I am a groomer.
