I've lived with cats my whole life and with a dog for most of my adult life. I've always loved animals, so I truly enjoy meeting all kinds of dogs and cats! My first pet care role was in college, when I walked my sister's corgi regularly. Since then, even while working full-time, I regularly dogsat for my coworker's and did house visits for their cats when they went on vacation. I used to work in an office that allowed dogs, and people knew me as a dog enthusiast because I could always be found stopping by desks to greet or pet every pup I saw. Although I'm a new profile on Rover, this year alone I've cared more than five different dogs and cats through family and friends. Whether you need someone to take your pup on a walk around the neighborhood, drop in to feed and care for your fur babies, or watch them while you take a much-needed vacation, I am here for you and your pets. :)

Safety, trust & environment
I live with 2 cats. If your dog is not good with cats and is staying for a short amount of time, I can keep them in separate rooms. I have a fenced backyard where dogs can run around in, fully supervised, and a crate in doors if they need.

Esther has been wonderful to work with! For the period of time she was walking my dog, she was very responsive, communicated well, and flexible with the timing of walks depending on my schedule. Highly recommend!

Esther is great!
Esther watched our 2 skittish kittens at home for 6 days. They refused to eat at first after we left, and she worked patiently to get them to eat, and gave them space while slowly increasing interaction. By the end, they were out, playing with her, and eating well. They even started to purr when she pet them. She sent us regular updates with lots of pictures, kept our house clean and was responsive. She thoughtfully checked in about details of our travel plans and arrival dates to coordinate her coming and going. We would definitely recommend her sitting services.

Schedule
I'm currently between jobs so I have lots of free time to devote to caring and playing with your pets! I am also generally available for late pick ups/drop offs like 11pm, when life gets busy.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsEsther can host up to 1 pet per night
- If boarding, dog must be either house broken or know to go on a pee pad. Crate and bed not needed unless you want to bring something of home to make them feel comfortable. Let me know what their favorite activity is (chasing, fetching, tug of war, treat puzzles) and what they don't enjoy (crowds of people, car rides, etc)
