Availability
I have a flexible job which allows me to make sure I take the absolute best care of your feline friends! If I'm staying at your home, as long as your internet and space allows, I'm usually able to work from yours, providing your cat with plenty of company while you are away. If you'd prefer day/evening visits, I'm happy to keep to your schedule. I make sure each visit is at least half an hour (though as long as your cat is comfortable I usually stay longer) and I'll always make sure your cat/s gets plenty of love!

I have an indoor cat myself so I am extremely conscious of appropriate security in order to keep your cats safe (e.g. doors, windows and keeping places your cat shouldn't be closed). As a previous cat foster home as well I'm very aware of what to look out for in terms of illness or injury, and of what to do in those situations. And while you hope it will never happen, if your cat did need vet-care while you were away, I'm very comfortable in getting even the most challenging cats into carriers and to the vets.

To make each sit as stress-free as possible please let me know of any behaviours or things to expect in advance (where they may hide, any risk of extreme door rushing etc.). I'm an experienced cat fosterer so I've seen lots of different cat behaviours but knowing beforehand so I'm aware and prepared is always helpful!
A typical day
I like to try to stick to your cats routine and favourite things as much as possible! So whether that's a good groom, a long play session, some sofa cuddles, or just existing in the same space - whatever makes them happiest, I'm there to do!

Looking for a responsible, experienced and caring cat sitter? I'd love to help! A quick personal note: By choosing me as your sitter you are helping to support the Herriot Hospice! In memory of my much loved mum, who the Herriot provided incredible care for at the end of her life, I will be running the 2027 London Marathon, and donating all money I receive through cat sitting until April to the Herriot and the incredible work they do! This doesn't change anything for you (just book as normal!), but I wanted you to know that you'd be part of helping families like mine! Okay back to the cats... 💕 I've previously fostered kittens and cats, through which I've been very lucky to meet a lots of cats with lots of differing needs! I've also been a cat sitter for several years and love to make sure your cat is as happy as absolutely possible so you can relax knowing they are safe and loved while you're away. I've cared for kittens to senior cats, high energy to chilled, and cuddly to a bit grumpy - happy to look after them all! I've also cared for several cats with medication needs (please message to discuss!) I live in Kelham Island and drive, so well connected to several Sheffield and further afield postcodes. Esther was very reliable and took great care of our cat, Tia. She spent lots of time with her, giving her plenty of cuddles and playtime. We had regular updates during our time away and our house was left very neat. I would highly recommend Esther!
Esther was amazing at looking after our cat - she always kept us in the loop and when we got home it was obvious he had been well looked after. We would 100% recommend booking with her and will definitely rebook in the future.
