When you're heading out for a long-anticipated vacation, you want to have the peace of mind that your dog(s) are in a safe and stress free home. Let our family care for and love on your furry family members when you leave town. Our place is their place when they can't be in their own space. We require a meet & greet with you and you dog(s) prior to confirming a booking request. We want to make sure that your dog(s) are a good fit for us and our home. Likewise, we want you to have the opportunity to make sure you are comfortable with us and our home. My husband and I have two grown kids in their early 30's. Over the years, both have helped care for many of the dogs who have stayed with us. Zoe has since moved out and now has two dogs of her own with her fiancé, but she still loves stopping by to visit some of her favorite fur babies whenever she gets the chance. Jacob has also moved out, and he still talks about the "cool pups" he has bonded with over the years. He would be thrilled to see them again when he stops by. Your pups will always have a fan club in our home. Write up everything you need us to know, and we will respectfully and lovingly follow your instructions to maintain the consistency of their established routines and commands. Just like parenting our children, dogs need to know they are loved and secure whatever environment they are in. In lieu of grandchildren we look forward to snuggling with your sweet dogs!!! A bit about Estelle: I previously worked as the health room clerk at an elementary school in our district, a role that required excellent communication, responsibility, and trust. Before being hired, I passed FBI and CBI background checks and have my fingerprints on file with CSPD. Caring for others - whether people or pets - is something I take seriously and wholeheartedly.

Estelle and David were wonderful with our young dog Hattie! They were conscientious and caring and she had a nice backyard to run around in. They gave her extra care with feeding and keeping her occupied! We would highly recommend!
Estelle was an amazing dog sitter for our two special mother daughter tag team, Curry and Ginger. She is detailed and super attentive to every need! We appreciate both her and Dave and they are number one top choice! Her care is superb! I highly recommend Estelle!
Estelle did such a great job making Kolbe feel at home and caring for him. Even managing several other dogs overlapping their stay, all things went well, and I couldn't be happier. Estelle was flexible when our flights were delayed and allowed us to add another night to Kolbe's stay. We will be using Estelle again! Thank you Estelle. I was confident Kolbe was in good hands.
Estelle was so awesome with Tundra. It was clear that she prioritized being home with the dogs, and she was very transparent about the number, age, and temperament of the dogs that would be there during our stay. Tundra came back happy, healthy, and tired 🙂

Schedule
I enjoy my role as a full-time dog sitting mom to take care your beloved dogs. There will be times I need to leave for an hour or two for an appointment. We can discuss how to handle such situations at our meet & greet.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a securely fenced back yard where the dogs can run, play, and lounge on the cool grass. We also have a double barrier system as Rover suggests. Visitors can enter our home entryway, living room, and dining room where the dogs can see who is in the house, but they are securely behind a see-through gate.
A typical day
We enjoy having to 2 dogs at a time with some exceptions up to 3 dogs. They have easy access to the fenced back yard via our doggie door where they can play together on our lush green lawn and run around chasing the squirrels along the fence line. Walks will be determined by the number and size of dogs in our care on an individual basis. We live near two parks and some open space. Your dogs would always be kept on leash for their safety and in accordance with city law. Please let me know what your dog's needs are so that we can do our best to offer them a similar routine that they have with you.

- We wish Rover gave a category for dogs between 41 - 65 lbs. We have found that dogs over 65 lbs. are not an ideal match for our home. A meet and greet with owners and their dog(s) is required to make sure that owners are comfortable with our family, home, and fenced yard. Likewise, we want to confirm that a dog is compatible with other dogs in our care. Out of respect for my neighbors, we cannot accept dogs that bark at anything and everything. Dogs must be able to play in our backyard without barking at the fence when neighbors are outside enjoying their family time and BBQ's. Breeds not able to host: Pitbull and mixed breed with pitbull.
